The tea rooms have a lovely ambience and the afternoon tea was delicious. The staff particularly the older blonde lady have a terrible manner. She banged things into the table whilst serving us and other customers. I watched her take the payment from another customer...More

I could tell from our short visit that the cafe was nice, and the food was fine. Coffee good. The staff were rude. They seemed annoyed that one of our party asked for tap water. I decided I wasn’t hungry enough for my scone so...More

Stumbled upon this lovely cafe/tea room during the Dickens Festival. Great food, good value for money, exquisite toilet facilities just needs to be made bigger to cater for more guests.

We are a traditional English tearoom situated in a 400 year old building in Historical Rochester. We serve a wide range of quality loose tea and homemade cakes along with freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade soups and home cooked meals. Our full afternoon tea is incredibly popular and we advise that you pre book your experience. We are a small tea room yet perfectly formed.
