We popped in for a late lunch, everywhere else seemed to shut at two or before. There was a friendly welcome and we enjoyed a pint of excellent bitter whilst we selected something to eat. The menu is very comprehensive and suits all tastes: carnivors, vegetarians, pescatarians, those who like asian food and those we like traditional pub grub. We... More

Have visited this pub many times en route to either Hereford or North Wales. The beer is of excellent quality, ( i recommend the Butty bach). Last time i was in I ordered steak and chips along with a pint. The steak was disappointing, full of gristle and quite tough, although the rest of the food was tasty.. the pub... More

As a pub this place is great, nice lounge area with big comfy seats, lot's of books, lot's of board games. It has great ambiance. I think that they allow dogs in the bar area, and off that bar area is a pool table area. Kind of what a traditional old British pub used to be. I would return for... More

We were staying at the Caravan Club site and visited the pub on a very busy night. They managed to fit us in and did say there would be a bit of a wait. We enjoyed a few drinks and had our orders taken with not too long a wait. Traditional grub, the pie and liver were very tasty and... More
