A surprise as the décor is plain and simple...but the food is of very high standard. Calamari lovers must try the deep fried salt & pepper squid. Please note that you will need to BYO alcoholic beverage.

We read about this restaurant in Herald Sun, it did not disappoint. Mai was charming and the service was perfect, the food was delicious especially The Crispy Squid. decor. we will DEFINITELY return. Don't expect this restaurant to have flash decor, believe me you are going for amazing Vietnamese cuisine.

Vietnamese restaurants in Victoria Street are of course a dime-a-dozen but gee they are easy to like. Simple efficient service and good pricing can be found here and the crispy salt and spicy squid was very good ($15). Roast quail ($8) was solid. I reckon I could write the same review 20+ times for this street (which Melbourne is very... More

We always come here for Vietnamese pancakes! They always are simple the best! There squid legs and body is sprinkled with pepper and comes with lemon sauce. There also is all kinds of pho which are all great and there is much more. This place is excellent!

My family have enjoyed coming to this restaurant on many an occassion. The fried flounder is exceptional and beef noodle soup magnificent . The place is fairly busy but we always get a seat and served promptly. The staff are very friendly and accomodating particularly when requesting extra chilli etc.

Had great crispy squid and also had the prawn and pork rice paper rolls which where not to fat and stayed together whilst eating them. Great place for a quick bite to eat will be back

had dinner here recently, not 5 star but a Victoria St special and awesome value. Rice paper rolls are a winner, as is the fried salt and pepper squid but if you're looking for a real meal, do yourself a favour and hit the soups - they're flavoursome and appear to be a never-ending bowl !

Had dinner at Thanh Thanh last week and was not disappointed. Stared with Fresh Shredded Pork Rice Paper Rolls - full of filling and flavour with a zesty dipping sauce and then enjoyed home made Salt and Pepper Tofu which was crispy and crunchy with just the right amount of spice on the outside and silky and soft on the... We met friends here last weekend for dinner. Straight away we were looked after, no waiting. Started with complimentary continuous delicious tea in a flask. Meals were all delicious, freshly cooked and cheap! Salt & Pepper Squid fabulous! Will definitely return to this friendly and obviously popular place!

This restaurant has one of the best Vietnamese Pho in Melbourne. We have been going here for some 6 months now. Love the pho , and the service. It is clean and spacious. We have Pho in many other venues, and I must say Thanh Thanh has the formula right. Recommended to any one interested in Vietnamese Pho.
