Staff were friendly and helpful - menu not in English, but they were able to answer all our questions. Oysters were good. My husband loved his fish. My mussels were okay - not great, I've had better in this part of the world. But overall, a good meal. And house wine was very good.

Needed a meal before returning to England so stopped off in Wimereux to look for a nice restaurant on the seafront. Having been told by one restaurant that meals are not served until 7pm, we moved on and found this little gem. The proprietor welcomed us in and we sat by the window overlooking the sea. We ordered Moules Mariniere... More

Lovely spot on promenade on a fine evening. Enthusiastic welcome from best waiter we have ever encountered in France - tried very hard and succeeded. Food was pretty good, maybe slightly over-priced but quite original and plenty of it. Exterior of building has seen better days, but who cares?... We were watching the sunset.

Friendly and attentive staff, even in a packed restaurant. We watched the creme brûlées being prepared with a blowtorch right by our table... I had a salad with fish and some delicious, fresh shrimps. (Even our daughter liked them.) Children were happy. And not too pricey.

Turned up here on the stormy day in April and it seemed to be the only place open along the front so there wasn't much choice. That turned out to be a good thing because it was an excellent meal really nicely done and presented. It was also extremely good value with friendly service. It's worth mentioning how absolutely impossible... More

Must have just timed it right as it was warm enough to sit outside on a bright February day. Had delicious galettes. Would certainly visit again.

It's been here ages, the food's always good and it's busy because of this. Stick your head in the door and make a call on how long you have for lunch - because it's not pricey and has a lovely view, good moules and experienced waiting staff will placate hungry children in English. Favourite entree was the moules fraicies -... More

Moments after our starters had arrived, the middle-aged waitress or patronne, I’m not sure what, came over to announce that our main courses were done. They were done, and ready to be served. When I replied that I didn’t understand, she proceeded to repeat the information more slowly and loudly - before I managed to explain that whilst I understood... More

I went here for lunch because of the good reviews, this was the worst experience since being in France. We had a starter which was over cooked, tasteless. My partner's main course was a salad with chicken, he eats almost anything, but this chicken was dark and did not taste anything, the ham was very dark, clearly not fresh. He... More
