We didn't actually get to have lunch here last week as the kitchen closed at 3pm which is disappointing for a sat! We had coffee, beer and cake instead and enjoyed the sun and views of the ocean out on the terrace. Staff very friendly and Belgium cookie cake was great. Will definitely go back and try an actual meal!

Been coming to this area for years but hadn't eaten here for over 20 years. Over Christmas popped in with family for lunch. Unfortunately for a vegan there is nothing on the menu and the vegetarian option was good ole goats cheese so not an option. Others in the party did enjoy their meal and the view is sublime. However... More

We called ahead so were lucky to get a seat when we arrived a few minutes before 3. They stop serving lunch at 3. We ordered starters, lobster bisque and mushroom soup. Both were excellent! We both ordered steak for our mains and agreed it wasn't anything to write home about. It was bad, but it wasn't amazing. Also ordered... More

Favourite restaurant in ireland. Food and service is outstanding. I rang to book a table weeks in advance of our visit to cork and asked if the did the still made the banoffee pie and he said they no longer served it. To our surprise after our main course they brought out to individual portions of banoffee pie. Please tell... More

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but we were offered to have a drink outside while waiting for a table to get available. The view outside is fantastic. The service was very nice and the food was delicious.

The Pink Elephant had absolutely excellent food, attentive and personable wait staff and a wonderful view. This was such an Irish experience in terms of being relaxed, and other worldly as we gazed out of the windows at the sea, flowers, and water. Very relaxing, wonderful atmosphere.

We stopped for a quick drink before dropping off family at their B&B. The bartender was very friendly and we had a great time!

Having skipped lunch during the day, I phoned to see if we could bring a reservation forward. Our request was accommodated easily and, indeed, we were advised that if we could arrive 15 minutes earlier than i had requested we would make our lives easier as we would slip in before a large group comprising several local families... On arrival... More

My previous visit was June 1980. In the meantime the restaurant has changed hands. The location is superb overlooking the estuary into Courtmacsharry. We had a very pleasant evening. Very nice menu with a decent selection of dishes. However my choice of a seafood pasta which could be either a starter or main was bad value for money. In my... More
