Excellent menu. There is ample choice for vegetarians. Options of small portions and sides makes eating very comfortable

We had been to The Moorings for the 1st time on 21st Aug 16 for 3 day visit & if you would like to read what I thought then read my review of 28th Aug! .........really cant see much more as to how much we loved the place....& at end of that review said would return. Return we did 2... More

Have been here twice now whilst on holiday nearby. Very good food and drink at fair prices with excellent friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Theres only a handful of restaurants in Portmagee, so we did not have much choice and this one looked the most decent. But our decision was right. They had a few special dishes of the day. Wonderful seaside village restaurant, cozy, good food, drinks, great little lunch stop, finally got fish and chips and it was delicious!

Visited with a group of 15 after a wedding. The food is really good, we mostly ate seafood. Very nice staff, lovely ambiance, good value. Recommended.

My second visit. With my two neices 5&6, nefew 2 and my brother in law. Very kiddies friendly. Food was excellent. Staff did not come back to see if food was good or we need anything else.

It was not my first time to this restaurant and I was looking forward to a return visit. It was pleasantly busy which created a good atmosphere. With the ocean's bounty at our doorstep, it comes as no surprise that seafood plays a large part in The Moorings cuisine. We are committed to only using the best quality produce,from the freshest fish and shellfish, to the choicest Irish beef and lamb and locally-produced vegetables and ingredients. Open 6pm-10pm Mar-Oct. Closed Mon except Bank Holidays. Booking advisable.
