We were planning a boat trip to the skellig Islands last week and before that needed to go for breakfast in Portage. We liked the tiny small cafe close to the harbour as we were able to sit outside on a warm sunny day at...More

We dropped in unexpectedly in a group of 9. Eileen made us very welcome as seated us all, we had home made soup and soda and lots of pots of tea. Excellent service and great food too. Will definately come back again.

The owner, who I gather is an accomplished and trained chef, was lovely and quick. The prices are low and the food was fresh and home made. Very few options in PM and a refreshing break from overpriced pub food.
