If you want a good meal set in a beautiful location - i.e. right next to a fishing fleet of brightly coloured small Mediterranean fishing boats located in a natural harbour and next to an old monastery - complemented by good service and local wines then you cannot go wrong here. We were a party of 4 mostly eating fish,... More

We had a superb meal here in this unassuming little restaurant tucked right at the far end of its street. We had been recommended Antiche Mure, but got lost and found this instead and were not disappointed. Great Octopus and mint dish, some lovely Cavatelli and pesto and a cracking bottle of wine for around 55 Euros for the two... More

We inadvertently arrived on the evening of the start of the patronal 'festa' and so had the restaurant almost to ourselves. We had a good view of the procession as it passed by the door. This restaurant was recommended to us and did not disappoint, apart from the sorbet. It is in a long room with an arched ceiling, seating... More

We were directed to this restaurant after finding our first pick closed. But so glad other was closed. This was a terrific place with the freshest seafood. Antipasto di casa was many plates of calamari , pulpo, tuna, salmon, langstinos and more. We then split a risotto di mare by four - a wonderful blend if the freshest mussels, clams... More

The mussels were some of the sweetest, most delicious mussels we have ever had. The tuna carpaccio was excellent. Our main courses were succulent king prawns and a platter of mixed fish, washed down by an excellent local white wine. The service was also faultless, as was the presentation of the dishes.

We had a dinner in this lovely place and i Will be back for sure!! Cheap and delitious, it has a few tables near the sea! We had sea salad and 'pepata di cozze' and delitious 'tagliolini allo scoglio'. The staff is really kind and is ready to suggest you the best plate! Absolutely to come back!

We had our second visit to Polignano a Mare and our search for a pleasant restaurant in the town is completed and the winner is A Mare. We find that the meny opens for a variety of choices and the raw material fishes, lubsters and various mussels are well presented at the enterance. The winelist has a good number of... More

This seems to be the place where the tourists are taken. In our case, there were some misunderstandings with what we ordered. However, we must say the food was ok and the service as well although not as personal and warm as in some other places. Next time, I would order a scampi pizza in this place - it looked... More
