An amazing meal of muzzle to tail... start across the street at their retail butcher shop where Dario will slice fresh cold cuts served with an amazing lard spread (additive) on Tuscan bread. The sit down dinner is served family style at large shared tables. Of course Chianti accompanies the meal, ending with Grappa and Military Spirits to wash down... More

Solociccia serves the cuts of meat Dario usually doesn't sell in his Macelleria. Almost all curses are deliciously braised, sometimes chopped, long-cooked meats except for the Chianti Sushi and rare roast. Everything is served family style and is bountiful and inexpensive. The include inexpensive chianti, but have no corkage fee if your bring your own wine. The grapa or Italian... More

Very nice experience, except for the food: sitting at a communal table and chatting with other tourists. However the food was exceptionally average (we had the cheapest, 25 Euro set menu): a variety of meat stewed in various ways. Far too expensive for what we received. Perhaps the 50 Euro menu, with an actual piece of meat is worth it,... More

Dining here is more than a meal -- it's an experience! We loved sitting with other couples from around the world, everyone was so nice and friendly and interesting. The food was out of this world and there was SO much of it! We could not believe the amount of the amount of food we were getting for that price!... More

A great experience. The meat was very good and both grown ups and teenagers loved it. Nice setting. Go here!

This place actually has the best meat plates I've ever eaten. You get a huge meal with several different meat cuts, water and Italian wine and bread (all the wine, water and bread you want) . There are different options depending on how hungry you are. I got the 30 euros one and I was completely satisfied. At the beginning... More

Loads of delicious, authentic loads of food beautifully presented by friendly staff. I recommend making a reservation in advance as the place gets filled up pretty quickly. Pace yourself so that you can experience each of the meals served as part of your package.

Here you realise that Dario Cecchini offers much more than great steaks. And actually, more than beef, despite the name seems to indicate an exclusive meat place. Grilled vegetables are wonderful, same as a simple and creamy (but no cream in it, of course!) pappa al pomodoro. Amazing the musetto, the tenerumi and all the lesser known parts of the... More

Yes, yes...Dario is a character. Certainly there is too much meat to eat. That horn was very loud. Parking was a challenge. But THIS is what I really loved about this experience: the communal table. We ate with couples from Italy, France, Austra, Spain, and Canada. There is no other experience we have had in Italy where this variety has... More
