Serving local produce in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and making it look easy is an art, if you want to know how to do it, visit the oystercatcher. I would like to tell you about the great fisherman's breakfast but then you would fill the tables there wouldn't be room for me.

We went for Saturday breakfast & wont be going back in a hurry. The poached eggs were over done & one side of the toast was burnt black! Other patrons were complaining about over done eggs too.

I love this cafe. It's much more than a place to eat - more like a hub of social and cultural goings on in Teignmouth. It's a place you can feel comfortable going in alone for a cuppa and huge lump of cake, in a gang for a tasty and good value meal, or with the family and dog for... More

We have visited this cafe on several occasions and have always had a warm and friendly welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. There is always a smile from the staff and nothing is too much trouble. Most importantly the food is excellent with a good selection.
