It is a nice place very welcoming. I felt that the menu was very limited and rather expensive . Good for people with dogs as you can take them into the bar area.

Short notice booking on Friday evening for what as a really beautiful meal. Main course of game pie, which was beautifully tender and tasty, wild boar sausages and a more than ample, well made fish and chips. The following morning we were still talking about...More

Booked this hotel for a one night stay because it was reasonably priced. It is an old coach house which I would say is in need of some renovation. It has a nice bar area and restaurant but I wouldn't recommend staying here. Our toilet...More

Been here a few times over the years and never been disappointed. Although quiet meal, service and atmosphere perfect. It seems the management are looking to also go towards events, good luck to them

We were offered either the normal menu or the Christmas fayre which we opted for and were not disappointed. Excellent value for money and the portions were really generous, the staff were really friendly will definitely be going back

See my review under my report of my B&B. The meal times are convenient. It is good that there is no loud music, just quiet, discreet background music in both the bar and the restaurant.

Visited as staying in area on business and glad I did. On a Friday night it was surprisingly quiet, easy to park outside and inside minimal waiting. Had the prawn cocktail to start, many prawns and crisp fresh salad. The main was turkey - again...More
