We have visited the Vineyard a few times including a wine tour which was excellent. Our latest visit on Saturday, despite heavy snow, the roads clear, the restaurant was very busy and we were lucky enough to be seated in the conservatory. The view was...More

I recently celebrated a special birthday and one of my presents was a vineyard tour, tasting and lunch, The fact that grapes can be grown on a hillside above Holmfirth is unusual. February is probably not the best time to go but it was most...More

This review is for the vineyard tour and the restaurant, not the accommodation. I have reviewed that separately as it's not to the same standard but I don't think the restaurant and vineyard tour should be penalised for this. We arrived at Holmfirth Vineyard at...More

Had lunch at the Holmfirth vineyard today . On arrival the car park is still in need of proper surfacing but at least the path leading down to the restaurant wasn't quite as treacherous as the last time I visited. We were seated quickly at...More

We were given the wine tour and breakfast as a present from some dear friends and we decided to stay overnight too and make a weekend of it, so we booked some accommodation. The wine tour, which we did first in the afternoon, was pretty...More

We were given an overnight stay, vineyard tour and afternoon tea as a special gift. The establishment (formerly a sheep farm apparently) has evidently done quite well out of the tourist trade, I would guess mainly out of curiosity. The views are certainly stunning, and...More

We were apprehensive about what our visit might be like when we pulled into the badly potholed car park with overflowing bins. The location has beautiful views and the tour of the vineyard was really good. The tour guide was excellent and was well informed...More

A very enjoyable afternoon finding out how wine is made and then sampling three of the wines produced at the vineyard. We then stayed for a delicious afternoon tea in the restaurant and enjoyed the breathtaking views. Highly recommended

Hello, I wouldn't think so. Don't know for sure but the main outdoor space is grapevine plantings, then there's the restaurant and wine making area. Guide dogs perhaps. Couldn't hurt to ring and ask.

Not exactly on its doorstep but you could go into Holmfirth and try Brambles or The Old Bridge. Or a little further afield Jacobs Well tavern is a welcoming and cosy pub in Honley (on the Holmfirth road.
