We were staying in Danna during the RMCO for 6 nights so we had the chance to eat few times at the restaurant. They have wonderful value for money set lunch and set dinner menu priced at 98 rm for 3 course meal but I believe this is temporary until they get back to business. Kids menu is also available.
Anyway must have top dishes for me were definitely the tiramisu - o my god I could have this everyday, mushroom risotto was quite good and Cesar salad with prawns. My husband liked a lot the duck and the mousse cake.

I think to keep I’m mind is that this is a modern innovative interpretation of Italian food. The dishes are all beautifully presented & layered in flavors. We ate there 3 nights and each was a very different experience. I highly recommend reserving an outside table. There are about 8 and they go quickly. It is so pretty, fresh and serene (except the one night a large family with a screaming child we’re outside - perhaps we should have asked to be seated inside when we saw them- Our fault) . We had only appetizers one night and enjoyed it thoroughly with so many gorgeous sauces, condiments and flavors. We had Pasta the second night and were shocked at how it tasted straight from Italy. Clean, bright flavors with everything made on site. The 3 rd night we had each had one of the 4 fish dishes. The fish was cooked perfectly moist and served with imaginative sides. Service was always impeccable yet warm. The Terrace is one of the many things that make The Danna one of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World.”

We had wonderful experience throughout our dinner. The food was great, we had the Almond Sea Bass, Lobster Tagliatelle, Pappardelle and the Roasted Chicken. But our favourite was the Zucchini Almond Sea Bass. Great services from Gary who attended us from the beginning till the end, Noraizan and Nabila as well who were very friendly and always made sure that everything was good. Most of them are very attentive though. Also not to forget the Chefs who prepared our amazing dishes, I believe it was Chef Zhafir and Chef Aznir? or Azneer. Overall great dining experience would definitely come back again. Grazie Mille!

I don't understand how anyone that has ever been to Italy can call the food served here as authentic - because it simply is not. Starter (mixed antipasti plate) was terrible. It was supposed to feature roast beef but the restaurant apparently doesn't know what roast beef even is (and served a regular, greasy bacon with a lot of white fat on it instead). The pasta we took was OK, nothing spectacular but certainly not Italian - even basic - standard. Espresso was OK. Prices are rather high. However, staff was friendly and attentive

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here 3 times, it is very posh, but we turned up in shorts and T shirt after arriving late and no one seemed to care.
The food is outstanding, from the moment you step in and get a drink you feel so relaxed. The staff are amazing, the deserts are imaginative, the lemon pudding was out of this world. It’s a little pricey (by island standards) but we’ll worth it as it is still relatively cheap compared to the UK for this standard of food.

Visited on 21st October for dinner , waited for 90 minutes for the main course to be served. Appeared got one big group before us. Should informed us earlier , so we can choose for another restaurant

Our first time at the terrace and the reviews were correct, a fabulous experience. Our waiter was a true perfectionist, the food well presented and full of flavour. I had the beef carpaccio, homemade pasta and lava cake with caramel ice cream....all fabulous. If I was to be picky being a perfectionist myself the air con was a bit too cold for my personal taste but that was only me...well done to the all the team at the terrace.

We had dinner here and enjoyed both the food and the very hospitable service, especially by Nasyn and his team.
The food was delicious (we had the beef parpadelle, seafood spaghetti and kids’ fish and chips) and filling. The ambiance is also very elegant yet kid friendly which we really appreciate. The chef was very kind and made us a special mini pizza (which was very good) for our little one and I think they gave her a much larger than normal scoop of gelato ( it was literally 2/3 the size of her head). The staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and so kind. We felt very welcome and had a great dinner.

We were lucky enough to trial the Terrace’s Special Seafood platter for two - it was amazing! Mussels, oysters, scallops, squid, prawns and a whole lobster. Delicious accompanying sauce. So tasty. Shout out to Chef Yon, the kitchen team, the service and waitstaff teams. Appreciated all the extras - complimentary fresh gourmet bread to start, complimentary limoncello and cold towels to finish. We will definitely be back.

Honestly the service and food here is TOP quality and I truely mean that from my heart , Nasrun yon and the other chefs are honestly one of the best chefs in the world , mind you I’ve eaten everywhere around the world , and the terrace in Langkawi is top , would definitely recommend this to everyone! Nasrun yon made us this custom made lamb chops and it was 10/10 !!!

It’s our third time at the “Terrace” and our family always feels special in this restaurant. The staff is lovely and attentive, special thanks to Jot and Fairuz for there kindness.
And of course the food is delicious. Never thought I would find such good Italian food is this part of the world.

What a great experienced, the waiter and chef really go beyond and above to make our dining experience really great. The food and service, you can’t go wrong with it. Everything is flawless, even tho we’re non resident guest but you won’t feel discriminated because they will treat you equally like others guest in their hotel. Will be back in a future for sure!

The food at the terrace is very good indeed. The restaurant is fairly quiet - which is typical of an onsite hotel restaurant - but it is definitely worth visiting. It’s fairly expensive but well worth it compared to the rather terrible and way overpriced ‘buffet’ evening dinner that is available inside the hotel.
The chef is lovely - as are the waiting staff.

While staying at the Danna we visited the Terrace on 3 nights. It was a fabulous experience and the food quality was exceptional. We had the set menu on two nights but this was filling, so opted for just a main course on the third night when we both had pasta which was perfectly cooked. There’s an excellent wine list and the cheeseboard is very good. The ambience was superb and we managed to get a table overlooking the sea. Listening to the minor birds roosting was an added bonus. However, it was the staff that really made this place, from the manager who was very attentive and in particular, Jeffrey who took such care and made our visits feel very special.
