An excellent sirloin steak, friendly and welcoming staff and reasonable pricing. Very nice décor, no pretentiousness, very highly recommended.

Brilliant unintrusive service, going out of their way to be helpful. To boot, the best pub Sunday lunch in a very long time. Really pretty village for a walk before or after and don't miss the village library - in a traditional phone box, just gorgeous!

We arrived on a Saturday lunchtime without booking and the staff could not have been more helpful - they barely flinched when we asked for a table for 18 people! The service was great, very friendly and helpful staff and the food was delicious. Very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend the White Swan. I only wish we lived... More

Had lunch here yesterday after a walk around the local area. Dog friendly place and the first thing Rob the barman did was produce water & dog biscuits for our Chocolate Lab (impressed straight away). We then ordered food for ourselves, My wife has the Monk fish Thai curry and i had the immense Pen y Fan burger. The food... More

Closed on Mondays, we went on a Tuesday and they'd already run out of certain items on the menu, which was disappointing. Burger and Thai Green Curry were both good standard pub grub, so there was nothing to grumble about. Staff were very attentive and couldn't be more accommodating by bring us drinks in the bar whilst the table was... More

We had lunch here, three adults and three children. The food was very good but the service let it down. The wait for the main course was long enough but the wait for dessert was interminable. We did complain but were fobbed off. Not good enough. The children's menu was good but could be improved by having a children's dessert... More

Staying in the village last week, the White Swan became a regular haunt - both for drinks and meals. It is a really nice country pub with welcoming and friendly staff, a great ambiance and a delightful situation. On one night we tried the restaurant - and on another we had a bar meal, though both are from the same... More

We went as a group of 12 of us for my sisters hen party/birthday dinner. We were in the Brecon Beacons for an activity weekend and had a lovely dinner at the White Swan Inn. Roberto was very helpful with planning the booking and his staff were friendly and efficient throughout our visit. The food was delicious, the restaurant was... More

Great dinner ! We turned up as casual guests and made to feel very welcome The white swan is a beautiful, full of character country pub, restaurant.
