While staying in Naoussa in November we found limited choices of restaurants. Achinos was one that was open though had mixed reviews. We decided to try none the less and we’re glad we did. Service was good ; good wine recommendation in our price range,...I had the orzo shrimp in pink sauce and my husband had the seafood pasta. Both dishes were very tasty. Our first impression was negative. We thought the staff was too eager to convince us to eat at their place. The second time we passed the guy apologised and we had a look at the fresh fish and menu. We decided to stay and that...was good. The food was absolutely above average. I had a very tasty seafood risotto with fabulous rosemary potatoes and my wife had a nicely barbecued tuna filet with grilled vegetables. The kids had meat balls and filled tomatoes. Even the children’s food was very well prepared with no cheating. Prices are above average and the wine was around EUR 35 for a bottle of Greek white wine. Finally the terass just by the sea is stunning and very relaxing. I am happy we went back after the initial impression!More
Our first meal in Naoussa. It was good, not great. The meals we had after were more creative and interesting, but the food was very good here.
Generally good food, even though one of 5 spagettis was a bit undercooked. We were a party of 12 and had to argue before ordering to have bill split by couple. They then wanted to know which bills would cover the "complimentary" water that we...had foolishly drunk from withouth checking. The "complimentary" bread was charged with 1.5 euroes per person; most expensive slice of bread ever, especially for those who didn't have any. When the bill came, they wouldn't accept payment by card under 20 euroes.More
A beautiful view to watch the sunset over the mountain but the food was disappointing. The tuna was dry and the sauce served with it comes from a jar I buy at home. The shrimp were just throw on a plate with a few veggies....No presentation, little flavour. Service is so-so.More
We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around. Food was not bad, just not blown away. Loved the location and the outdoor seating was nice. I enjoyed the stuffed tomatoes which was a nice serving and my husband had the Greek meatballs. Both were good.
We mistakenly chose this place as we were walking by, as it had a nice view of the harbour and we were hungry, the menu looked good and the ambience was nice. We were promptly seated and ordered wine and the Zucchini app with Tzatziki...to start. It was deep fried and just meh. For mains my wife got the Seafood “risotto”. This was truly inedible!! It wasn’t even risotto it was over cooked rice drowned in a bland thin sauce of some sort. The seafood (shrimp, squid, octopus) was all so horribly over cooked she couldn’t eat any of it. This is tragic if you claim to be a seafood restaurant! I had the spicy seafood pasta. While the pasta was cooked well, the seafood was way over steamed and tough. Again how they claim to be a seafood place is beyond me. Service was poor as no one came by to ask us how we liked the meal (I was waiting to complain which I rarely do at a restaurant). We waited so long and my wife was so hungry as she couldn’t eat her meal that she left to find a pastry or something to eat nearby. When I flagged down a waiter and told him about my wife’s poor meal and over cooked seafood he just shrugged, took our plates and left. As others mentioned they charge you for bread you didn’t ask for and the place doesn’t care about your experience or satisfaction whatsoever. Avoid this tourist trap at all costs!More
We visited the place early in the afternoon. There were not so many people in the restaurant. The food and the cuisine was perfect. Great salads, great main dishes and good appetisers!!! Even if the prices are little bit expensive, it’s money worthy for a...good meal/dinner. A place to visit for sure.More
Unfriendly staff. Not great food. Bad service. They closed big umbrellas over our diner plates...What else can I say. There are many far better options in Naoussa
We stumbled across this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The portions are huge and the service was impeccable. I normally would have avoided this restaurant as is wasn’t in the TripAdvisor top 10, but with an extensive menu and great views we decided to take...a gamble. It was definitely worth it. Try it, it won’t disappoint.More
