Had two types of curry and rice. Very busy but didn't have to wait long for our meals. Two different types of curry and a mountain of rice. Rice was okay, curry was very bland and I opted to leave most of my meal and settled for a dry biscuit when we got back to our room. Second curry also... More

The atmosphere is not really cozy. It seems to be very basic but you can watch them prepare the food for you. Due to the other reviews we ordered vegetarian curry only which seemed to be very authentic. Compared to other places we have been they put all food items on one plate with the rice (instead of getting severals... More

We had dinner here a couple of nights ago, wasn't sure what to expect, as it looked more like a place for a drink. Ordered the veggie rice & curry and wow! So delicious!! Best we've tried in nearly 3 weeks around the country. I decided to sign up for the cooking class and it did not disappoint. Chintha is... More

Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, and curry was amazing! The five curries are the best. I had the prawn curry also and there were about 20 prawns in a delicious sauce. Such good value. Service is good, price even better and the setting cosy and cute! I would definitely recommend a visit whether you're trying to keep your costs down or... More

It was alright, we had way better currys for less. You don't miss much if you skip it. But really fresh food, extra cooked for us!

We had the set Sri Lankan rice and curry at this small family run place I agree with earlier comments about downstairs being a little claustrophobic and we reserved a table upstairs There was a fair wait for the food but as it is cooked to order this is understandable The food was really very good although the various curries... We visited this place twice and were always happy with the quality. The prices are in midrange compared with other restaurants, but the meals are worth each ruppie. The meals are prepared freshly, so you have to be aware that it needs some time between ordering and serving, especially if the the restaurant is full.

Service was good and food presentation fine. We asked for our devilled fish and prawns to be spicy and Sri Lankan spicy, not tourist (we live in Sri Lanka!). However, despite this being acknowledged, the food that arrived was completely bland. Very disappointing.

Don't judge a book by its cover definitely applys here. After reading all the other reviews, I decided to stop by for dinner. It literally was a hole in the wall but the food was so yummy and affordable. I had the pumpkin curry with brown rice and it was more than enough food for one. I wished I found... More
