We ate here twice during our 10 day stay and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. Being away from the main drag of all the really touristic places, it was clear that the food was freshly prepared each time, which meant for a short wait, but well worth it. Of special note was a dish of squid... More

A previous reviewer mentioned the "fish cooked in the oven" - I can thoroughly recommend it. This is one of the unpretentious Cretan tavernas worth visiting. It isn't big, but everything about it is good, including the Cretan music.

Picked this randomly from the selection of restaurants along the sea front and enjoyed it. We had the vine leaves and dakos to start - vine leaves were brilliant! Dakos was decent. Then a mixed grill and a mixed seafood platter and both were very tasty. They gave us the usual raki and a tasty dessert at the end on... More

IF you want seafood you have come to the right place. The view is perfect as most of the restaurants. We eat swordfish many, many times here. We also like their lambchops very much. Come here and have a good time.

Although in line with other restaurants by the sea, Corali stands out with very good seafood and good service. Very instructive menu!

In menu it does not look as apetizing choice, because the food is simply called "Fish baked in the oven." But it is the best fish food I have ever eaten. Ever. I ended up having it at least two times and the food is so great that I have to recommend it even here.

The sign outside the restaurant said "since 1977" and so we figured they must be doing something right. That would not be the chicken souvlaki, alas, which was seriously dry. The stifado was also rather bland and even the Greek salad was limp. Hopefully, we were just unlucky.

Along the sea of Paleochora, normal dishes. Unluckily all the dishes arrive together so everything gets cold. The cake offered by the restaurantbis very good.

The Corali used to be, as I remember it, much bigger than it is now. The food quality is actually very good, in particular the fried meatballs, and the prices very reasonable. But oh-dear the staff really do need to learn to smile a bit, the atmosphere was dire, it really did spoil the evening. Why do some people need... More
