We just wanted something to eat, and although I was not initially impressed, it ended up being a very pleasant lunch. We generally look for something off the main thoroughfare, but this was on the main walk-way. Staff were very pleasant, pizza and drinks went down very well, and the people watching could not have been better.

One of the very best places I've even eaten in A lovely rustic setting, yet quirky at the same time. Visited with 3 other colleagues and we experienced some stunning simple, fantastically tasty dishes. And best if all to finish with had the very best ever tiramisu I have ever ever tasted, trust me I've had many ;-) Best restaurant... More

Very nice restaurant set back from the main promenade. Plenty of outdoor dining, though you will need to book as this place is very popular with the locals. Waiting staff are friendly and fun and their service standards match the excellent food. Go for the Seafood Linguine as it's historic, but ask the waiter to help you on with your... More

Lovely meal away from the main lake, great atmosphere with plenty of locals having family meals. Beef carpaccio was delicious. House wine very good too.

Lovely bottle of local wine but meal and ambiance was very very average . Would maybe have stayed for a desert but tables are close outside and people smoking while your eating was unpleasant .

It is up a hill from the ferry square near the tourist office, their lunch menu is amazing 5 Euros for one course, 10 for 2 plus a side. Best carbonara, excellent tira misou and pear and chocolate cake, great steaks, many locals, grape vines grow on trellises creating shade naturally. No great view but great food.

Lovely setting away from lake and best pasta of visit so far! Husband and daughter had biggest piece of chop ever. Could have shared it! Very relaxed. Worth a trip.

We went one night as restaurant we originally intended to go to ( Osteria di Mezzo) was closed. This is a lovely restaurant on a side street in Salo away from the main square with outdoor seating ( and indoor). We sat outside and had some great pasta- tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle sauce. We also had the grilled chicken... More
