We were lucky to find the only free table available on Sunday. Quick service and very friendly staff. Homely atmosphere, very tasty and various food. Hoghly recommended.
We ate lunch and dinner here and enjoyed both. The restaurant is cute, the staff nice and the food all homemade and delicious. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
An attractive heavily beamed restaurant with plenty of bottles on display behind the bar. Excellent service from our waitress who spoke excellent English. The food was very good: Crostini, then Ribollitta, a choice of pastas and sauces or dish of the day. Very enjoyable.
On the way to visit the beautiful abbey, we stopped to enjoy a meal at Locanda Paradiso. What sounds better than eating in paradise? It was simple but very good fare. Very enjoyable and relaxing experience.
While touring locally, we were taken to Paradiso for lunch. We enjoyed a tasty meal. The appetizers we simple, but delicious; grilled vegetables & crostini among others. Also great was the Ribolitta (A Tuscan bean soup), and the homemade Pappardelle al Cinghiale (wild boar). Good local wine....A lovely place to stop while visiting the nearby Abby.
We were staying in Chiusure (a very small town). Went to Trattoria Paradiso for dinner one evening and had a fantastic meal of fresh pasta and cod. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. We returned another evening to just enjoy some wine sitting in their outside dining area. Again great service...and only EUR 1.50 per glass for Outstanding local wine.... More

Service was good and we enjoyed tasting what feels like a simple, authentic, home-cooked meal: some panzanella (they translate it as wet-bread salad), braised artichoke, and a sampling of locally-made pecorino cheese. This place seems to be frequented by locals and visitors alike. A perfect stop on the way to or... More
We visited the marvelous Abbazia di Monte Oliveto with friends, and after drove to the small hamlet of Chiusure to have lunch at this small locanda. We sat outside and enjoyed the view of the hills. The homemade pici al aglione and cacio e pepe were delicious, and also the varied and tasty pecorino cheese board was excellent. I particularly enjoyed... More
We stopped here for a quick lunch of panzanella and pici on our way home. We only wish we could have stayed here for longer so we could have had a full four course meal! The pici pepe e cacio and aglione were the perfect last meal. The restaurant is very quaint, with lovely views if you are outside. Friendly... More
