We recently visited Pienza and our hotel made a reservation for us here because it was a Wednesday night and many restaurants are closed. We had no idea what we would find, walked over to the restaurant and settled in with just a few other people. Within 30 minutes, the place was packed, mostly with locals. (Our hotel told us... More

We went out with friends for a dinner at Dal Falco. Everyone was pleased with their dishes. For first dishes we ordered their ravioli with truffle sauce, fried artichokes and pici with wild boar sauce. These were all very good (except that our pici was a little over-cooked, the sauce was great). For the second course we ordered lamb, a... More

Thank you very much for your review. We are happy you enjoyed our food. Our Pici are made with the ancient recipe from our granparents, only with water and flour. Because of this, Pici are more soft then other pasta types, it's their characteristic. So most of the people find them "over-cooked" but they are not, it's their consistency Thanks More

A friendly welcome with a homely atmosphere. Large selection of wines, fixed menus for all pockets and appetites as well as choices from a traditional menu. We shared 2 starters between 2 couples a bottle of recommended white wine and one ltr of water . 3 persons had a meat course and shared 3 vegetable dishes and 1 person ate... More

I had Cacio e Pepe and deep fried eggplant. The pasta was definitely homemade and so tasty. The meal was accompanied by yummy house wine and followed by complimentary digestif. The ambiance was not fancy, but perfectly Tuscan and gave you feeling that it was a locals favorite. Happy we went and even made some new friends at the neighboring... More

The restaurant at Hotel Residence San Gregorio was closed for the season and reception recommended this one. We had the chef's special spaghetti and tagliatelle with pork sauce, shared a mixed salad and very pretty plate of grilled vegetables. With wine and sparkling water, dinner was a very reasonable 51 euros. The dining rooms filled quite rapidly with local diners... More

The restaurant was filled with large groups of diners, mostly local Italians. The food was excellent, the service OK. The waiting staff were run off their feet and despite the large number of diners made a good effort to provide service. Our party of 12 had a most enjoyable time. The restaurant is very noisy when full. We left the... More

we had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant while staying at Agriturismo Terrapille, Lucia from Terrapille suggested we try it one night that they were offering an amazing experience of wine and food pairing by their chef in conjunction with a visiting chef. The whole evening was amazing but the food and the hospitality and service was exceptional. We... More

We last visited this restaurant 3 years ago. We came back because it was so good, and we were not disappointed in the least. The service is always spot on, the bruschetta fresh and delicious, and the Pici pasta, which you can only get here, homemade and always cooked just right!

Our group of 10 was handled very well by the staff. Some of us chose the tasting menus and if you have the appetite and budget I'd definitely suggest it - the dishes were varied, truly local ingredients and prepped, and well presented. I found the tasting menus were very good value for the money. I was impressed that the... More

Ate twice here and had really good evening meals. It appeared to be favoured by the local Italian families and therefore the food was sure to be of excellent quality. We were not disappointed. I particularly enjoyed the veal steak. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and at the end of each meal we were given a complimentary 'granita.'... More
