We met up with friends living in Pienza and this is favorite pizza restaurant of theirs. We went with what was recommended by the owner/chef and were not disappointed. It is clearly a place that locals enjoy so that speaks volumes for me. The group enjoyed the house red wine and were offered the lemoncello to end the meal.

Had dinner here our first night in Pienza. Pizza was fine, not great, and service was a little slow because of 2 large groups (locals) that were there at the time with only 1 waitress to serve.

Great dinner tonight...pizza and salads were the best. Wonderful owner and server (wife?). We would go back if we were here longer!

Zia Remy was recommended by the innkeeper at our hotel. We were definitely the only tourists in the place. We ordered salad and pizza as well as the house red wine. It was all very good quality and delicious. The owner/chef even shared some of his homemade limoncello with us. We will revisit Zia Remy if we have the chance!

We went to this place twice, as we were very satisfied at the first visit. The pizzas are very good, the size is ok , prices are reasonable and staff is extremly friendly ( booth waiter and the cook). I would recommend it if you want to have a good pizza.

Amazing pizza! We ate here on the recommendations of an American expat who has lived in Pienza for 7 years. He said this was the best pizza in Pienza and boy was he right! Not only was the pizza amazing, but the service was fantastic. We overtipped our waiter because we liked him so much. They have a local Tuscan... More

We review Zia Remy, together with Madonnino dei Monti, just because they lie at the opposite ends of the scale while being located just a few kilometers away from each other. We had a very disappointing dinner at Zia Remy. The service was slow and unprofessional, the place is shoddy. We got "antipasti", one noodle "first course" and two pizzas:... More

While staying in Sant'Anna in Camprena we explored the surroundings which belong to the Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO world heritage site. Of course we went to Pienza, a jewel in itself. We happened to sit for lunch at the outside patio of this pizzeria which is on the way to Sant'Anna but, unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst... More

We visited Pienza and its beautiful surroundings including the outstanding Pieve di Corsignano. Once back in town, we saw this pizzeria advertising on the road its wood fired oven. We decided to stay for dinner and sat in the outside patio having some disorderly scattered tables and only a few customers. After a while we got the menù and ordered... More

This restaurant was highly recommended. The owner was very gracious and charming. We ate in the outside patio. The food was delicious and our waiter was one of the best we had on the total trip!
