Popped in for a café latte and couldn't pass up the lovely fruit tart in the dolci case. Excellent service, lots of locals coming and going. Nice place to warm up on a cold, rainy day.

Best salad and very reasonable prices. At the end of this small town so easy to find and worth the look. Save yourself the hassle of mediocre food at high prices elsewhere. This is a great deal.
Absolutely heaven on a plate. The owner/ chef raises basic Italian comfort foods to a new level. Unpretentious food at very reasonable prices, but prepared from scratch by a chef who knows and loves food. The sheets of pasta in the lasagne are rolled very...More
My mother and I had a very nice quiet lunch at this cafe. The food was so fresh and delicious. We shared a salad with olives and tuna. It was dressed well and all of the greens and additions were very fresh. We also shared...More
A small bar tucked away from the main footfall. It is a simple bar serving drinks and food; open from early morning until 8.00pm, so you could have breakfast, lunch and an early dinner here. Paolo is a great "mine host".
The café is situated a bit outside main turist attractions, and it is a plus. Menu is simple, but you can taste typical dishes/starters. We took salads. They were fresh, prepared in front of our eyes (probably) by the owner. Great tomatoes, mozarella and olive...More
We stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant while stopping in Pienza for a quick lunch break from driving. Several of the other cafes were closed due to siestas, but we kept walking around the town off of the beaten path from the tourist areas and boy...More
We were looking for a small place to eat away from the main touristy square of Pienza and here it was. Their crepes were the best I've had. Only two people running the whole place. The guy cooking and the girl waiting tables. It was...More
The Caffe Della Volpe is tucked in a little off the main way in Pienza, but it's a charming place worth seeking out - and Pienza is a tiny town. We sat outside under the awnings and enjoyed coffee and desert - amazing to still...More
Paolo the barista will do everything to please you and will treat you as if had ordered a case of Champagne even if you are only having an espresso. Ask him for directions and clues to the Val d'Orcia. Highly recommended
