This restaurant has recently moved to the small village of Montemelino about 15 minutes from Magione. The views from the outside terrace are fabulous and the food is delicious and well priced. The staff were attentive and the experience was excellent.

Recommended by our apartment host, we enjoyed the drive inland through the Umbrian hills to this lovely restaurant. Comprehensive menu, great service and good food. A bit off the beaten track but that is great when you are a little fed up with the standard fare !

He offerts for all people the best foods. The dishies are delicious, ...hmmm chingiale ‼️, the wines are demanding, the dolce come from the paradise. The view from the montain and... More

Driving across Italy from the East we came across Al Coccio. What a find, The somewhat eccentric owner was a delight and the food was excellent. The service was great and all in all we made a great find and wenjoyed our stop-over.

You can get really typical home made dishes and good local win. The team is very gentle and able to provide plenty of explanation about the food's ingredients. The atmosphere is exactly the one of an Osteria with people discussing loudly and making jokes. They sell an original selection of pepper bottles: to try. I spent a really good moment.

We were recommended this restaurant by someone who lives nearby and so I went to checkout the reviews on trip advisor - we were not disappointed at all........The owner Marco is also the chef and has devised an Umbrian menu made up of the gold of that region, that is truffle, wild boar, game and of course porcini and meats.... Magione is a slightly grim little town on the outskirts of Perugia. It’s near Lake Trasimeno but that’s not a reason to go there. Having arrived at our hotel (“Slow Umbria”) to find that its restaurant was only open for breakfast (yes, really), we went in search of a restaurant for lunch. The hotel owners had no specific recommendations other... More

This is a good Umbrian restaurant just outside Perugia near Lake Trasimeno. It is a locals favourite so if you go weekends or Friday you should book. If you let Marco guide you, you will sample local produce and foods typical of the area. Very fresh and excellent crostini followed by umbricelli with great sauces of truffles and porcini. We... The restaurant is located near the lake Trasimeno and serves local specialties based on truffles. Truffles are seasonal, so recipes can be adapted to the type of truffle which is available. My husband and I liked the food and we dined there twice. The first evening we ordered boar in carpaccio as a starter, followed by ravioli with porcini and... More
