This restaurant has recently moved to the small village of Montemelino about 15 minutes from Magione. The views from the outside terrace are fabulous and the food is delicious and well priced. The staff were attentive and the experience was excellent.

Driving across Italy from the East we came across Al Coccio. What a find, The somewhat eccentric owner was a delight and the food was excellent. The service was great and all in all we made a great find and wenjoyed our stop-over.

You can get really typical home made dishes and good local win. The team is very gentle and able to provide plenty of explanation about the food's ingredients. The atmosphere is exactly the one of an Osteria with people discussing loudly and making jokes. They...More
