Burnt and dry chicken and tasteless pork chop. Perhaps the fish is better, but staff was ill and coughing and prices were high. The positive was huge portions and nice view of the ocean.

Beers were welcome and refreshing. Following recent good review on trip advisor of the scabbard fish at this place we decided to eat there ! However, far from being the best scabbard grill as described by you earlier reviewer, our fish was dry boney and tasteless as was the tuna my husband had. We could of been here every night... More

As non-fish eaters we can only comment on the BBQ chicken, the tomato onion soup and the garlic bread. Garlic bread was super yummy, the chicken meat was alright but not spectacular, and the tomato onion soup was below average compared to other places I've tried it. Very good value for average food, but lovely view on the terrace and... More

The best grilled scabbard fish I have ever eaten. Fresh fish prepred with garlic, simply way but what a fantastic result. It comes with potato and boiled vegetables. Very tasty!

We were there for a dinner-sea food with rice. Food was really good, but we were billed 55 eur for wine(should have been 5,5 eur). In the end it was corrected, but was it only mistake or intention?

We took TripAdvisor reviews into account, and went here rather than the two big restaurants in Porto Maniz, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, the view from the balcony was fine, and the service was exceptional. The only small quibble was the location of the men's toilet! Our local guidebook recommended the two big restaurants in Porto... More

We needed a quick bite and stopped here. The tuna salad was fresh and satisfying. I had a glass of Casal Garcia white wine which was crisp and effervescent. Service was vey polite. Tuna salad cost 5.5€

As in former years we got very good seafood. We had Arroz de Marisco (seafood risotto) which is much cheaper for two (22.50 €) instead of single portions. If the weather is not too windy, sit out on the back terrace where you can watch really impressive waves and breakers. Remarkable: A big number of half bottles of wine on... More

We went on a day trip to tour the east of the island and went here for lunch. It reminded us of a communist type restaurant we have seen in other countries and we didn't have high expectations. Three of us had lunch which included a bottle of wine, for around £20. They do snacks such as toasties as well... More
