The village of Anciles is a great small old village near Benasque. We were lucky to stay there last summer. Hidden in the village, you can find this great restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious and there is a great choice of wine. If you have to pick-up one restaurant around Benasque, this is the one.

We had a wonderful evening. Great local mineral white wine. We had tasty veal carpaccio and elegant quail. The waiters were very friendly. The town of Anciles is unique - we feel very lucky to stay at Casa Mingot

Ansils is tucked away in a tiny village about 2km outside Benasque. We went during the low season and were one of only two tables of diners that night. That said, this place should be far more popular. I had a lamb stew that was perhaps the best soup I've ever eaten. The broth was light and perfectly seasoned, the... More

Went there with friends and children. the restaurant is small and has been there for over 20 years. The food is typical from this region in Spain, great food, soups and meat. Service excellent and the deserts also great. the place is great in a small and beautiful village in the Pyrenees, lots of trails to walk to get there... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit during your stay in the area. Service was very good and the menu indicative of local produce which was helpfully offered in English. The venison dish was rich and very tender. We were fortunate the have a table by an open window as although we were eating at 9pm it was a very... More

We were blown away with this restaurant to the point it was one of the best meals we had on our one month stay in Spain. The wine list is extensive. We stayed in this area for two nights and we ate at this restaurant three time! Yes we also indulged at lunch!

Just returned from the restaurant. Fantasic meal, great service, nice and cosy place. We shared for a starter the pasta with sausage from Graus, as main courses we had wild boar ragout and fillet of fallow deer. The dessert was tarta aragonesa con natillas de avellanas. Delicious! The waiter recommended a wine from the region by the name of Sed.... More

Very welcoming staff and peaceful atmosphere. We had a great lunch with some excellent deer and partridge. As a starter we had a salad with specialities (ham, blood sausage and cheese) of the area. Our gluten free diet wasn't a problem for them either. As desserts we both had delicious chocolate cakes. The bill for the whole thing was about... More
