Always very good food and equally good service, but you pay for the freshness particularly the starters. Lobster rice is highly recommended. Best location on the seafront as it is away from the hustle and bustle of the run of the mill lookalikes that dominate L'Estartit sea front.

The food here is always reliable and yummy. The view is beautiful and ambience always friendly and buzzing. This restaurant has become a little expensive over the years and we were sad to see that the stony pier has been flattened so it is a little sad looking. But the good coffee and friendly service is still the same!

Nice restaurant, nice location and nice staff, with good service. The owner, however, was less than friendly. She was pushy to the staff and to the customers. Felt sorry for the staff.

Every year, we once eat at Salinas, the fish is delicious. The service this year is even worse than last year. The waitresses were very unfriendly. We received the bill before asking. We were supposed to leave so other people waiting, could take our seats. Never again Salinas after 6 years.

I stopped at the Les Salines in July 2016. It was almost totally empty and I sat the the sea side canopy. I was abruptly asked if I'm going to order anything, if not, I need to leave the place. I've never been so insulted in my live!!!! I've ordered grilled fish resisting multiple "upgrades" by the server who was... More

Most of the time, when the owner is still active in the business, it's a good thing. Here it doesn't feel like it is. The old man insisted on speaking French with us (we are flamish and our Spanish is much better than his French) and wasn't very welcoming. I went for the lobster and we had to wait for... More

Never miss a visit to Les Salines for their Sardines and paella. Like many others we have been returning for many years (over35) and the warm reception we receive from Francisco and his family and staff is wonderful. If you like burger and chips, this is not he place for you. If however you appreciate superbly cooked fresh seafood, this... More

We ate here during our day trip from Barcelona. The view of the Mediterranean Sea and the fresh seafood made it a very enjoyable lunch. The baked fish was fresh and the calamari rings were the biggest and buttery we have had. You can't go wrong here.
