We visited the pub on a Friday night. It was freezing cold to the point of having to sit in our coats, even though there are numerous fires around the place. It is in need to decorating. The furniture is of poor quality, with stains on the chairs, plus one broken chair at our table. At around 8pm a band... More

Great value for money as a mid-range eat! I highly recommend the carvery on a Sunday, however, I feel it is not quite as good as the carvery from the "Down Inn" situated approx. 5-6 miles away. But, despite this I feel you would not be disappointed.

The Falcon used to provide a really good Sunday roast, unfortunately in last few months all has changed. The meat is not freshly carved and is more like the sliced meats you would expect in a sandwich, this really is a shame as the service is good and the vegetables are all cooked to perfection. With fresh meat this could... More

Very friendly staff, empty bar. V good sized portions but "home made" sausage doubtful. Nice choices, burger was good. Might try Sunday lunch but unlikely to return for repeat Sat lunch. Sadly no atmosphere due to lack of custom.

Hi, Thanks for your review. I can assure you that we do indeed make our own sausage on site - as well as butcher our own meat, making our own burgers, curing our own bacon, pork pies, scotch eggs, etc. Saturdays can be quiet but do try us on our grill night (every Friday) or Sunday lunch. Kind regards Conrad More

The food quality was spot on and it's a very reasonably priced place to eat. There isn't a massive menu, but something to suit everyone. I personally think this is better as it shows that they'd rather do a few dinners well than have lots of menu choice which end up as being "Ok"..... They butcher their own meat and... More

We haven't eaten at The Falcon for some years but had heard the food was good these days and they were right. Pleasant, efficient and well organised and the food was plentiful and really nice. You have the choice of any one of three meats or all three and a regular size meal or large. Prices excellent too. Very good... More

Our friends and family decided to spend the May bank holiday in Bridgnorth. We are a party of twelve intotal (10 adults,2 toddlers). Not knowing where to eat for a sizeable party we were recommended the Falcon. We had the best steaks (plus toddler food) any of us have eaten outside our local top class restaurants in Liverpool. The service... More
