This really is a great find, a little out of the way, but we'll worth the short trip to the Black Isle from Inverness. Real honest pub food with a genuine home cooked feel. The staff excellent, friendly and helpful. The food was definitely very good value for money.

The answer here is to relax. They do eventually take your order and serve you. When they do it is worth the wait. We all found the food excellent and the portions large. Atmosphere very pleasant as were serving staff.

Decor very basic but clean.Food was good.We shared the fish platter starter and there was enough for a main course. It was delicious.I had pork in apple and calvados sauce which was tasty but the vegetables, except the potatoes, were watery and tasteless. Service was efficient and friendly. We will go back.

Lovely meal, the chef even adapted a starter into a main course with no fuss and the service and staff were great. Also fit us in when full booked up

Very small. Book in advance as gets very busy being one of few food stops in the village. Main meals are quite big portions. The service was very friendly if a little slow. We ordered fried brie to start but were disappointed to find the cheese was still cold in the middle. I ordered the lasange which was okay ...... More

Fabulous food with great company. The owners run a farm and try to use their own produce. Another night would have allowed me to try their beef. Such a pity my trip is planned and I have to ove on

Went to this lovely little Inn for early evening dinner, four adults three children. The starters were freshly cooked and plentyful, in fact dinner plate size. The main menu had plenty of choice at good prices. The desserts were beautiful. The staff extremely friendly and helpful, and although the Inn is small, we had a lovely cosy evening....don't pass by,... More

Quaint local pub with delicious homemade food. The Guiness steak pie was truly a delight to eat as was the macaroni cheese but the best bit was the excellent sticky toffee pudding & icecream, yummy!!! Best to book a table as it is always busy but the staff were very accommodating in finding us a table.

We were staying in Beauly and to be honest found the pubs and restaurants there a bit 'samey' and rather bland. My wife found The Culbokie Inn advertised and as it was our last night in the Highlands decided to give it a try. Apparently the pub is under new ownership and the meat for the restaurant is supplied from... More
