If you are hitting the slopes of the Zillertal Arena you need to stop at Rosi's Schnitzelhuette. This place offers traditional own made schnitzels halfway the slope nr 18 in Zell am Ziller. The schnitzels are very big and tasty. Outside the veranda offers a perfect view over the area. Beside the food also a good place to finish the... More

I read the reviews and had to go. Of course it was way to big but I ate it anyway and no regrets. It was as good as advertised. Only problem was finding it. Kept missing the turn. But worth the effort.

Crazy big schnitzels. Are tasty but too large. Share 1 with 2 people unless really hungry. Ski advised to get there!

This is a real schnitzelrestaurant... It just serves a lot of good schnitzels with fries. Although you could get some extra's. The XXL schnitzel is enormous! A normal schnitzel is already pretty big. Also a nice to have a hot drink when weather is bad.

No argument, these are the biggest schnitzel in the world. Fast service does not belie the quality. They are huge, they are tasty. Get one... One's enough.... For two.

If you ever visit the Zel am Ziller ski area you must go to this moutain restaurant where they service the biggest Schnitzels I have ever seen. At around 11 euros for one huge schnitzel it's not to be missed. Unless you are really hungry I suggest you share! It is situated half way down run 18 from the top... More

We were dead tired, and the smell on the way down was there for miles. We followed the smell inside, and got a HUGE schnitzel with its good friend Weissbeer. SWEEET!

We searched for Rosi's hutte we visited about 10 years ago, but found a nice new restaurant. Business model: Schntizels! The photo is an XXL schnitzel, but you can have a children's size as well. Don't expect 'haute cuisine', it's a mountain restaurant frequented by skiers (run 18). Outside you have a wonderful mountain view, inside the Austrian 'gemütlichkeit'.

Famous for its huge schnitzels that exceed the size of the plates. Like all such places it can get crowded at lunch times. A good place to rendez-vous if you need to arrange a meeting of groups from both Zell and Gerlos, as happened to us.

One of the best mountain restaurants to go to for lunch when skiing. Huge meals, which can easily be shared, reasonable price and very tasty. Great views when sunny.
