My first meal I was not able to eat in Italy, after 11 nights, so I guess that is good. The octopus in a tomato sauce tasted weird!!! My Mother tried to off load here tuna and Octopus on me. I had one mouthful of...the tuna and couldn’t do any more so I know I should have but I didn’t even touch the plain octopus. These two seafood items are in my top 3 safe seafoods the other being salmon. The staff then didn’t even what to venture down the path of why so much food was left but when the waiter took the food inside he was looking at the food and said something to another waiter and he also looked at the food and they then had a discussion about. We have not been approached by any staff member since and that was a good 10 minutes ago and the restaurant is not busy. Another 10 minutes has past and not one person has approached us, lucky we have wine to drink. By the way nor did we receive the balsamic vinegar or olive oil. Further confirms attention to deal The portion size for €5 of chips is questionable.More

The food was fresh and well presented. There was a variety of food on offer including an excellent steak. We have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

I really don't understand why this restaurant got such good feedback. The portions were small, even tiny (grilled fish), the vegetables totally burned, the starters ok, but nothing special. I noticed the grilled veggies to the waiter, he offered to replace them, but we had...already finished the tiny portions. We had to scream to get the check, the waiter totally ignored us. It's such a pity and we definitely won't recommend this restaurant.More

Mixed sea appetizers were great and also the mussels gratin. Both 4-5* My polpo in pignata was just lovely and a straight 5* Sadly, the pasta with vongole was too salty and some of the cocktails too strong/bitter :-/

While the service was good, the food was bad. There are many other places in Otranto that serves much better food. I had sea bass in some kind of tomatoe sauce and it tasted wierd. Also the side dish of grilled vegetables was cold and...dry, and one could tell it was cooked long before we even ordered. This was such an disappoinment.More

We were lucky to find a free table here on the spot, the place is usualy very busy, people is queueing to get a table. We only had seafood, so this is the only type of food I can review. Everything was fresh and very...well prepared, we had seafood antipasti both crudo and cooked which we did not regret as it was amazing. Service was average, too many guests and not enough waiters but everything ended well.More

Food was good but not as good and as unique as in other cheaper restaurants we had in other cities. The waiter forgot about us for 50 minutes, was obviously serving new people around us. He made up for it a bit by offering free...desert.More

We passed by the restaurant and as it was very busy and most of the tables were taken ,so we thought that we found a gem . What a mistake !!! We ordered 2 dishes and one them was the veal (vitelo) The presentation was...horrible. They add so much shredded Parmesan on top the that you couldn't see what's underneath the pile of cheese. The meat was so cold that the Parmesan and the rocket leaves on top the food was look fresh . Not even a single pieces of the Parmesan has melted over the "hot" extremely cold meat . The meat old and over cooked . The traditional French fries was made from frozen Iceland chips . The bread and olive oil was of an awful quality. I send my dish back without and didn't want to risk ordering anything else. They greedy owner charged me for the dish and 4 euros for the last week bread he served . I dint argue the bill , I was want to leave and find some decent food . If you appreciate good and clean food. Don't you ever visit this restaurant. It's a trap. Low quality bad food .More

We are here twice during our 6 night stay in Otranto. The food was simple, super fresh and delicious - a seafood lovers paradise. The specials of monkfish and clam linguine and fresh tuna were exceptional. The service was excellent and the waiters were happy...to help with wine recommendations which they got spot on. They also spoke good English which is rare in the area, but very helpful with our very limited Italian! The restaurant is in a great spot too!More
