Lovely view, nice service and fresh food. A bit expensive but I guess you pay for the view and the white table clothes!

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel we were staying in at Taormina, Villa Ducale. We were on our way to the airport but had the whole day to travel and have lunch before our flight. We eventually found Capo Mulini which is quite a small seaside town. The restaurants are all overlooking the harbour. Having been recommended Il... More

Our last day in Taormina and after an exhaustive day on the Edna we were pretty tired. We did not want to go up to the centre of Taormina, so decided to go here. When we arrived the place was almost full. Still, we were seated, but on another terrace. After a while, when there was place, the owner of... More

My inlaws are local to the region and know exactly where to go to eat the best fish/seafood. So we went to this restaurant with high expectations. We have eaten there before and the food was excellent, but the service was not great. On this second occasion the service was awful. Even the food could not compensate this time. The... More

Wonderful lunch time venue. Traditional Sicilian. Great seafood and excellent service. Good wine list. Boatyard vista it's only shortcoming. Peppered mussels worth the visit!

Went twice in the space of a few days. Antipasti: excellent and large portions. Mains: well made and tasty. Excellent frittura, really cooked to perfection. Service: a bit on the slow side. Location: beautiful.

Il porticciolo is a very very good restaurant. We visit this restaurant for over 10 year in a row just because it is delicious. Quality cost a bit. If you do not like living fresh fish you should go to the tourist restaurants. The people who work there, are working for you, so you can have a nice and loving... More

Great dinner with business colleague. We had few antipasti of raw fish - simply delicious and amazingly fresh - tasted as if they were just caught - fresh scallops, prawns and shellfish that was so fresh was moving when squeezing lemon on it ! Then a plate of squid ink pasta washed down with a magnificent bottlem of white wine... More
