A friendly place on the Corso Vittorio Emanuele with good coffee and nice ice cream and sweets. We had a short prosecco pause there, paid and continued on our exploration.

Came to Noto especially to taste Corrado's ice cream at Caffè Sicilia after a program called Sicily Unpacked claimed it has the best ice cream in the world. Fortunately, had been in Palermo in October and Al Gelatone wins this accolade hands down. Enjoyed the Zafferano dell'aquila, limone, mandorla di Noto, but was disappointed with the casual service here. This... More

Visit if you want the best gelato and a lovely glass of almond milk (simply made with almonds, water and sugar).

There are a few tables outside if you are lucky enough to snag one. Great for people watching. Two people next to us we're loving their desserts and even ordered two more (cassata) to go. We ordered two cafees and two GLASSES (bicchiere) of water. The waiter brought two glass bottles of water and was pretty incensed when we wouldn't... More

This is the only gelateria in Italy where I wasn't allowed to sit at a table outside and eat my ice-cream. Apparently, I had chosen the 'take-away' option (how else do you buy and -cone?) so I couldn't sit down! I didn't like the ice-cream much either

When it's sunny and hot and all you want is a refreshing granita - this is the place to be! I had tried quite a few granite on my trip to Sicily, but this was by far the best: full of flavour yet not too sweet. Go for the option with 3 glasses of different granite if you can't decide!

The moment I had my first bite cappuccino ghiacciato (almond milk granita with coffee poured over it) that I'd read so much about in Conde Nast and other travel books, is a moment that will stay with me for many years to come. One of those tastes that blows your hair back as you realise you've never had anything remotely... More

Wandered in here after dinner thinking it would be pretty touristy and crap, but were were very pleasantly surprised. Plenty of locals drinking, excellent Cassata, Moscato and Grappa. We left happy.

Like others we came for the ice cream whose reputation precedes it. We had Montezuma, which is orange, chocolate and other flavours, almond, which was a delicious marzipan taste and turrone. Unique flavours. Definitely to be recommended!
