My family and I like to steer clear of the main areas of a holiday resort when looking good places to eat. On this occasion, El Horno is not on the main "strip" and is on a side street so perfect for us. The service is great and the food is pretty good. In 4 days we visited twice and... More

We have eaten here on a few occasions in the past and rarely been disappointed but my oh my what happened tonight?? The starters were dried up and the lamb was full of gristle and tough and tasteless Really disappointed considering the cost and what is available elsewhere for considerably less.

For meat lovers. Very good and fast service. We had cochinillo and goat and both were good. For meat lovers only.

We were told about el Horno by family and highly recommended it, lovely welcome and the venue was busy although it is very small probably seats 40 people inside and 10 outside, waited 5mins to be seated and got served a drink. Ordered for starters prawns in oil (amazing) and bread with tomato (waste of money, so thinly cut bead... More

Visited on the recommendation of a friend and it was worth the 30 minute walk. We all had roast meat - suckling pig, rabbit and goat - and all were delicious. Highly recommend, atmosphere is warm and friendly.

Why is this place 61st in the list of restaurants in Playa Blanca? I've been coming for 30 years and this place is my No 1. It appears to be run by one or two people in the kitchen and one or two waiting tables, but the service and the food are second to none, and the “head honcho” is... More

We have eaten here on previous visits to lanzorate and went again last night. We had squid and garlic prawns for starters followed by goat chops and lamb. All our dishes were of excellent quality together with a nice bottle of lanzorate red wine which was also good. Its quite a small restaurant, very rustic spanish with friendly and helpful... More

This restaurant has a wonderful selection of different meats.....goat, lamb, suckling pig, to name but a few. Cooked beautifully & can be thoroughly recommended if you are not vegetarian. Friendly atmosphere & good service.

Owned by same people as Cervantes. Same excellent food but restaurant has more of traditional rustic feel. Not very big and is always busy. Tables are somewhat close together but not a problem. Gets very busy so best to make a reservation but they always try to fit you in.
