Visited twice during a visit to Spain. A hidden gem that many tourists will never find. I literally could have eaten here every day of the week. The surroundings are rustic and casual with bench seating within the woods. A very different experience but in keeping with the meat offerings and their speciality of Churrasco (ribs). The service was friendly... More

The place is excellent with an exquisite building and decoration which reminds ancient Celtic Galicia. The food is produced at the site, it is very good, well served and authentic. It gives you pleasure to eat with your hands, connecting you to what you eat as very little places do. The service is excellent, with very friendly and educated personnel.... More

The restaurant is located in the middle of nature surrendered by trees. Against other critics saying that the place was dirty I have to say that it is not true.In the nord of spain there is the term "merendero" where the customers eat on woden or stone tables in a very rustical manner which makes it a very nice place... Our guesthouse recommended we visit this restaurant for dinner and we almost regretted walking there in the hot evening but were really surprised when we arrived to this bustling temple to honest food. Families everywhere and a playground full of children playing while their parents ate and drank. Galician traditional musicians in another part of the restaurant. It was very... More

Decided to surprise my friends with a special meal but ended up surprising myself! For starters we ordered tomato salad and tortilla! They were simply brilliant with fresh vegetables from their own garden! We then order churrasco (barbecue) pork and beef ribs that were incredible! Cant remember what else we had, but everything was simply delicious and service was quick... More
Judging by how busy the restaurant was when we visited, they do not need any more great reviews, but I feel I have to write something. This is just a very special place. You will know from previous reviews that it is set in delightful woodland in the middle of nowhere. We cycled here and we knew we were on... More
Well there is nothing really to say: Absolutely marvellous... The food, the place, the environment, the people, etc… As you enter in the main restaurant hall the bucolic earthy environment sets in and you rapidly get in the mood for a great meal. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant only emphasizes the high quality of the... More
A Galician friend of mine wanted to show me this place since ever. He loves meat dishes and I have to tell damn that was good! The meat dish "Croca de Buei" (spanish) or 'Croca de Boi' in galician was just perfect! This dish gives you the possibility to cook your own raw meat directly where you are seated. Meaning... More
A perfect place to go in a sunny day, is very rustic as you eat in wood tables. The "churrasco" (ribs) is a very typical dish in Galicia and here you can try it for around 7€ per person. The desserts are also quite good, the bread is of a specific type made with a mix of corn and wheat.... More
