We had a delicious dinner there. The staff was very hospitable and above all pleasant to deal with. They clearly enjoyed their work. Their gluten-free offering was also good. Not a dirty songseed sandwich, for example, but good taste and quality.

Unfortunately, bitter was disappointing. Many customers, indoors and outdoors, few staff: organise it differently. Food: good, but that "salad" turned out to be a bowl of 5 cm diameter for 3 people. A spoon would be useful with the (in itself fine) willow dragout. Waited endlessly for 2 decafé, and presented a wrong (far too high) bill twice. Nice guy, did his best.

The food was excellent. The service was friendly but due to the full house very slow. The lack of service insight during a busy night was obvious. We were there at 5.30pm and had to leave for an appointment at 8.15pm having to tell them to leave the 4th course.
So... go eat there for sure, but when it's not fully booked

We were there for drinks and dessert after having had dinner elsewhere. We wish we had eaten here instead! Interesting décor, very friendly service, and great drinks and dessert. I think this is the beat place in town.

This is a restaurant with a very cosy feel over it. The lay out is spacious and the furniture feels like home. Staff is friendly and the food is honest and (if possible) from local farmers. The menu is not very big end things tend to be sold out between ordering and serving we experienced. But in Dwingeloo probabely the best place to have diner. Its the kind of place where you dont feel like leaving after you ate desert...and take another drink.
