I'm a fan of the Banjo's chain - I've had countless lunches, coffees, breakfasts at many of their stores around Tasmania. I recently visited the Margate Banjos for coffee and a quick bite with family. It was a hot, humid day, and I don't think there was any AC on at all. It was hard to breathe in there, and... More

Had a wonderful experience at the bakery. Loved their cauliflower and cheese pie, it was delicious. Lovely bakery and great space to each. Special slice deals and great bread rolls.

I called in here to grab a quick take away for breakfast on my way to catch the ferry to Bruny Island. The lady serving could not have been more helpful or friendly. I needed confirmation of directions and needed an ATM. I also needed food and coffee. She helped me make a perfect selection of sausage rolls and encouraged... More

Located on the main highway this is a good little spot for a pretty good coffee and some lunch - mainly artisan type breads and sandwiches. Service is pretty quick and the free newspapers combined with its a good coffee makes for a nice break

Nice and clean with the best sausage rolls around, sorry National. The savoury rolls take a bit of tossing also

My partner and I are vegetarians and really enjoyed eating a Banjo's Bakery, we always bought a mini vegetable roll. We were sad & very annoyed to be totally honest to find out (after asking and double checking there was no animal product e.g. chicken stock) today that there is beef booster in the vegetarian rolls. I think its very... More

Sells baked products that do exactly what they say on the tin. In particular, my daughter's a fan of their sausage rolls

No matter how many times my family and I travel south through Margate, we always seem to stop at Margate's Banjo's Bakery. The food is always consistent, the staff friendly, the selections good and the prices reasonable. This is a great place to stop, have a quick bite to eat and get back on your journey.
