It looked all a bit tired and lacked ambience, the plastic tables and chairs very cheap like a takeaway place. The mussel pots never disappoint but cannot recommend the mussel fritters, they were too chewey and gooey .

Went with friends and was surprised as i am not a lover of mussels. Eggs and bacon on toast yum. My husbands egg yolk broke so the chef provided him with 3. Staff friendly. Outdoor area very pleasant. A must to do.

Had a lovely lunch here I had the mussels in white wine which was delicious and my husband enjoyed his grilled fish and salad dish made for him specially as he is coeliac.

Warmly greeted by the brewer on a very busy weekend. The mussells were top notch, served with crusty warm bread and a good local brew.

I have been hanging out since last season to once again enjoy the fabulous Mussel fritters. Unfortunately the batter wasn't cooked on inside. ,They looked fabulous from outside but we're inedible.

yes I do seem to remember someone mentioning that it closes for a time in winter. Not sure from when to when, sorry! Perhaps they've left a sign in their window? ??
