The desk clerk at our Rome airport overnight hotel in Fiumicino recommended 2 nearby restaurants for dinner. One was closed, so we ate at Sfizi di Mare. Great choice. It's charming and romantic, outdoor dining is available. The food is authentic Italian and seafood is the specialty. The staff was very attentive and most didn't speak much English, but between... We had dinner on our last night in Italy before heading home. This was a great choice. Food was delicious and service was excellent.

This was a wonderful experience for our final night in Italy. We dined al fresco in the front courtyard, and had excellent service and amazing food. The Saltimbocca is fabulous!!!!

It was our last night in Italy and we really wanted something authentic (not touristy fare which is all too common if you're in any of the high traffic towns and cities). We wanted delicious. We hoped for romantic. This restaurant met all of those expectations and more. Impeccable service, a wide variety of wines and menu choices, "to die... More

Spent last evening in Italy for summer vacations dining here. Nothing special in my opinion, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with any of it. Pasta was good, ham and lemon was nice, steak and fries boring, but the mixed fish grill was reportedly very nice. Nice outside terrace and good service. I would go back unless I found better... This review is a little late..about six months late! Two of us ate in the great place on our last night in Rome. It was recommended by our taxi driver. It was closer to the airport than going into central Rome. About a ten minute ride. The food was incredible. We had pasta, gnocchi, and it was delicious. Very light... More

The owner and waiter were exceptional. Their recommendations were spot on. We had the pasta with octopus and clams as well as the spaghetti vongole The warm apple pie desert was just superb. Overall the experience was fitting for our last night in Italy. Would recommend this place if you stayed at the Comfort Inn Fiumicino.

This restaurant probably would have been great if we hadn't already spent a week in Tuscany and a week in Southern Italy. We were staying in hotel nearby and visited this restaurant on the last evening of the trip based on TA reviews. First, the wine that was suggested was the worst and the most expensive of our entire trip.... More

Nice decor, great service good wine selection, I am Italian descent and do travel over 200 days a year all around the world,of course I have a weak food point and is italian,to enjoy a rigatoni Carbonara you have to come here, most of restaurants add cream to thick the sauce is not the real thing! The sword fish a la siciliana... More

Don't eat hotel food! We stayed near the airport prior to and after a cruise out of Cittavechia. You will be glad you took the short ride ($20 cab fare) from the DaVinci Airport to Sfizi Di Mare Restaurant in Fiumicino, Italy on Viale Delle Meduse. You can dine open air inside or in the front sequestered from the street... More
