Great view from the highest hill in Rome, Monte Mario. It is 123 meters high and it is a steep walk from Piazza Mazzini, as I did.

Excellent seafood restaurant at Fiumincino beach, bruschetta pomodoro, as starter, fettucine alla carbonara, rigatoni, spaghetti with clams, vongoli verace, my favorite pasta dish, a real revelation, and fresh fish, a regal ; friendly service, nice ambiance.
Really great restaurant and friendly staff. I have to say we landed at FCO in evening and took a hotel in area. Every single restaurant was booked in advance and you could imagine our frustration with 2 youngsters hungry in the evening. This place took us in at 21:00 and offered us menu food which was tasteful and delicious. Thumbs... More

We stayed at Flumicino for 2 nights before our return to Australia. We visited this restaurant both nights. Excellent food and service. The second night the service was not so good. I think the locals visit this restaurant often. Overall it was nice and the food good. Reasonable pricing
They treated us very nicely, it was crowded but they still had tables available unlike the other restaurants in the area. I had a nice plate of spaghetti with clams, which was good until I found a bad clam, part of which i could not help not to swallow. I also had a "frittura" (fried calamari), which was quite good... First they offer a 30% discount if you order a table online. Absolute cr*p. Anyway we decided to go anyway because the menu looked good and it had some decent reviews. We got there just before they opened and they said come in and have some drinks until the kitchen opens. While we were sitting there I asked if the... More
We were transiting overnight near Rome Airport and our hotel recommended this restaurant for its view of the sea, tasty pizza and affordable prices. It exceeded our expectations with a great server, nice service and excellent food.
If you like city lights view, this is the place. It reminded me of Castaway in Burbank, CA. The food was OK, nothing to write home about. Locals know the place well. If you ask around for a nice restaurant for a quiet dinner for two, this is the place they'll recommend. Reasonable price, so go anyway!
Lo Zodiaco walks a nice line between the plethora of more expensive restaurants in Fiumicino and the smattering of pizza places. We opted for seafood/pasta dishes rather than pizza and it was all very good. Service was very attentive and friendly. The threat of rain brought us inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating.
