We ate lunch at this restaurant in late September. We loved the type of Mediterranean food on the menu and it was prepared and served with care and attention. The ladies who were serving were happy to practice their English with us and were very helpful when it came to deciding what to order on the menu and how to... More

Doesn't look attractive at all, first thought its a bar. Went for lunch, quite good food and very friendly staff. Ate Busciata alla italiana and alla stagnone (both very good!). Little tomato salad with red onions, very fresh!

Had a great first visit, the Busiate a la siciliana was heaven on a plate. The panelle was very good and service was great. We went back on more time and the food was still super good, but service not optimal. The forgot our order for dessert. But: foodwise-go there!

Fantastic food in a seemingly quite simple restaurant. we were not disappointed. Unbelievably good fish dishes. Good service in a simple restaurant.

We reserved a table but when we arrived we were told that our reservation given to another couple by mistake. We decided to wait but service was slow. When we finally sat down the waiters kept making mistakes with our orders then the starters came together with main course. This meant we had to eat our pasta cold as we... More

Great restaurant to eat fresh food outside on the patio (or inside, for that matter). Excellent selection of local wines (frizzante is good) and strongly recommend the cous cous. Delicious with a bit of spiciness. Good-sized portion yet not overwhelming. Cassata was delicious, too!

Excellent genuine food prepared in a simple and tasty manner! Go for the alici marinate marinated in Home grown lemon Juice and try the cous cous or the dish of the day- you won't feel sorry!

Unfortunately, many of the restaurants in this area cater to tourists and are overpriced with average food. This restaurant was typical in that sense, although my husband raved about his mussels with marinara and constantly wanted to go back. To be safe, just eat pastries while you are in SVLC...
