Lunch at the end of September is a different experience than in mid August. Better service, better food and a more relaxed atmosphere. Started with the duck liver parfait and then the local fresh fish, lightly coated in flour and quickly pan fried, delicious. Not cheap but the whole thing worth it.

This was our second visit to En Caragol. The first was about 3 years ago and it was a little underwhelming. I seem to recall my wife and I ordered the mussels in white wine to share as a starter. The sauce consisted of white wine mixed with UHT cream and not much more. So, you ask, why the return... More

Went there for lunch on the way from Binibeca. The waitress nicely tell you what they have, what is fresh and good, so you kind of choose from her words. The food is good but not exceptional. Different types of seafood. Be prepared for a high bill at the end of the meal. We paid nearky 100 euros for 5... More

En Caragol is an understated and often missed culinary gem. On the south coast of the island with great views out to sea, this restaurant blends into its elevated location above the rocks. It looks like a beachside cafe but that is where the comparison stops.... the service and cuisine are exemplary. My wife and I have visited this restaurant... More

The sales banter before ordering was impressive. However none of the 'off-the-menu' items had a price and we ended up with a bill nearly double that of other better quality restaurants on the island. Steer clear of the battered sea-nettle unless you want to pay 20 euros for ten pieces. Location: stunning views across the sea. Atmosphere: expected something better... More

We went here for lunch on the offchance after driving past and liking the look of the location. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, overlooking the sea. We hadn't realised it was a fish restaurant and of the four of us I am the only one who really enjoys fish, so we were a little anxious on viewing the menu. Like a lot... More

My family and I had dinner here recently and I wanted to share my review with you all. At first site the restaurant looks a little like a large shack and this had me a little worried a out the quality of the food. I needn't have worried though, because we had excellent meals with a selection of local, freshly... More

There is nothing to remember about this restaurant except of gorgeous views and an expensive bill compared to other restaurants on the island. Food was barely okay, paper table clothes, limited choice and a 70's disco ball hanging in a corner. In sum, no value for money.

A wonderful position and excellent service. So nice to have a multi-lingual owner who really cares about the service and standards. Next came the food - brilliant choices were offered with care and concern to explain things to us. All was fresh and beautifully cooked.
