Have eaten here a couple of times. It’s unique, just simply and worth the journey. My very best recommendations!

If you visit the site of Pella, make sure you walk up the hill towards the Pella Rest House. They do fantastic lemon mint soft drinks and they recommended the fish to us which was a fantastic and tastes very fresh. Maybe a little bit...on the expensive side but worth it for the view. Chicken main was about 12 JD and fish was 16 JD, drinks were 3 JD each (from memory). Well worth itMore
We really enjoyed our lunch here. The food was really fresh, the fish done to perfection and there was more than we could eat. The people are very friendly. The view is superb overlooking the archeological park
The restaurant is in a splendid area, with high quality service run and managed by locals. The best restaurant with Best food quality in the whole north area. I advise everyone to go and try it. It's affordable as well.
We ate here whilst visiting the archaeological site of Pella. Our table was on the shady verandah overlooking the site and in the distance the Jordan Valley and West Bank and it is a fabulous view. We had the help-yourself-buffet of hummus, salads etc, some...lovely lemonade with mint and turkish coffee. All very good - some of the best food we had whilst in Jordan. The family who run the place were very welcoming, gracious and friendly and we enjoyed our lunch very much - thank you! Would definitely recommend a visit.More
Went there is Friday I enjoyed the view the food ,the staff were customer oriented loved the area of PELLA and had a relaxing after noon after having activities in the near eco park
Being part of a coach tour you have to go with the crowd flow. The rep took us to this restaurant which has a great view over the Pella ruins and vista. I did not eat at the restaurant though the other members of the...group mentioned the food was, portions a little small, drinks bit pricy. Other the view while sitting on the Terrence steps is amazing and very relaxing. There is an entrance from the restaurant grounds in to the ruins if you wish to go for a explore.More
Once you find the Pella ruins, fantastic in their own right, carry on up the hill, away from the Jordan valley road, then turn off to the right. The restaurant terrace overlooks the little visited ruins at Pella. well worth the visit , just for...that! Food is good - not much English spoken, led to us being misunderstood and over-oredering,More
Recently re-opened, the Pella Rest House is a rare gem and it is definately one of the most spectacularly located restaurants I have ever been to. It is perched high above the archaeological site of Pella with a birds eye view of the dig including...the current excavations on the main tell, the churches and theatre in the civic centre below and the imposing hill of Tell Husn where major ancient fortifications have been discovered. The Rest House offers food and drinks on a beautiful stone terrace overlooking the site and provides a cool, tranquil place to appreciate the spectacular views across the Jordan Valley. The Pella Rest House is located approximately 30 minutes from Irbid and is the perfect place to stop on a tour of the important archaeological sites of Umm Qais, Pella and Jerash. It caters for casual travellers as well as large groups. If you are touring northern Jordan, dont miss it!More
We stopped on our way from the Israeli border to Jerash. The fabulous view encompasses in the forground the site of the ancient city of Pella. While we lunched we watched archaeologists at work in the distance and a shepherd taking his sheep up a...steep hill with his donkey. In the far distance you look across the Jordan valley to the hills beyond. We had a delicious lunch of salads and dips and St.Peter's fish from the Jordan River cooked to perfection by the chef whose son is the manager. She is rightly proud of her skills. We lunched on the balcony.More
As the prior reviewer mentioned, the view from Pella Rest House is extraordinary! Our driver took us here for lunch while on a day trip to the North from Amman. We were served a vast array of salads, all delicious, and had a choice of...fish or chicken as an entrée. I chose the fish and it was one of the best prepared fish meals I've ever had the pleasure of eating. A worthwhile stop if you are in the North of Jordan.More
This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to. The restaurant is on a hilltop and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous, beautiful mountains and Roman ruins. The food cost around £10 per person...and a variety of salads etc were served along with the food. It was freshly cooked and extremely delicious and fulfilling. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. I'd recommend everyone visiting the area to go there.More
