Very nice sirloin with green pepper jus. Very glad that I opted for salad and fries because the 'chef's potatoes' were boiled new potatoes which wouldn't have been as good. The lamb racks was my wife's choice. They were very nice but the 'chef's potatoes' ho hum and a little more jus would have been great. No room for deserts... More

This would be one of the busiest restaurant in Whangamata. The night we went there, happened to be Thursday, when it was steak night. It was an excellent meal, the staff are very pleasant and attentive. Even the chef came out to ask how the meal was, and share pleasantries with the customers. The owner is always assisting customers, and... More

We arrived with 3 families, no booking and we had 9 children who had spend the whole day at the beach and were far from best form! The staff were amazing and went out of there way to accomodate us and the children were happy with colouring, food and desserts. While the adults enjoyed an amazing meal! Will definitely go... More

Went here in the first week of January. Food is okay, same with the service. I ordered poached eggs on toast. Eggs were over cooked along with other poached eggs ordered by other people in my group. My definition of overcooked is the yolk was firm and in no way a liquid. Not horrible but considering the recent additions to... More

We called into The Lincoln for dinner while on holiday. The restaurant was very busy but we were promptly provided a table. A carafe of water came out straight away along with the menus. We were asked for our orders within 5 minutes and our drinks, entree, and main all came out in perfect timing. The menu is not large... More

I ordered my steak well done which I know a lot of Chefs dont like, however, it came out bleeding and was rare. I sent it back to have it cooked a bit longer and it came back medium rare, pink instead of red but still some blood running out. Also it was very gristly. The people sitting at the... More

Awesome live music, friendly staff, great atmosphere all round. Ordered the chicken breast main which was delicious if not slightly dry but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Followed by the chocolate cake dessert which was also delicious. Great flavours throughout both. Cannot recommend this place more! *only comment would be to book in advance in summer if planning a night out as it... More
