Lovely bar and restaurant with very reasonably priced food and drink. There is a nice atmosphere with very friendly staff. We visit Whangamata quite a bit so will definitely be visiting here again.

Lincoln really delivers on quality and value. We enjoyed a great meal with a scallops and pastry starter followed by delicious lamb chops. Reasonable priced wine list and lovely service.

Dinner for "special occasion" i.e. friends from Melbourne. During day, sign outside said it wasn't open, but on driving past in the evening, it was open & we had a nice table. Varied menu but nothing special. Steak was swimming in a thin pepper sauce with the small bowl of salad plonked in it on the same plate. 0/10 for... More

It was difficult to find somewhere in Whangamata for a sit-down meal after 7.30pm. This was the only restaurant where there were quite a few diners. It turned out that a number of them were obviously locals, this seems a popular restaurant. I was asked where I would like to sit and when I asked to be near the outside... More

Called in on the off chance after a long day out and, despite a large party being in the restaurant, we received very quick service in order to get our order in before the large party. Our steaks were excellently cooked and presented.

On a weekend of me time I had dinner at the Lincoln. Friendly staff and a great steak! It had a great atmosphere and was obviously the place to be on a Friday night. I would defiantly recommend to anyone travelling together as a group or solo.

The Lincoln is a fantastic place for dinner. Service is great, food is delicious, loads of parking right there, and a really good menu. The walls at the entrance are adorned with quotes from various artists including Elton John and Macy Gray. Try to identify artist and song! And while on the music, the retro selection that is played in... More

A little pricey but still worth paying for the quality of the food. My fillet was top quality. A small serving with lovely vegetables to accompany it was exactly what I was looking for. My husband wasn't totally happy with his lamb but really only personal taste - a little over cooked for his liking. Good wine but a little... More

I ordered rack of lamb which was some of the best I have had and my wife ordered duck which I also tried and was delicious. Service was spot on. Creme brulee at the end of the meal was a good choice. We liked the place so much we tried to return for breakfast but unfortunately they don't do that...... More
