Worst Fish and Chips in New Zealand. Have nothing positive to say. Don't go to Craig!s, unless you like awful fried food.

ordered 1/2 scoop of chips and 3 nuggets via phone order. Was put on hold for a sec but she was poliet and friendly. Only took 10 mins to cook. Was busy when picked up but still had great service. Chips cooked perfect and the right amount of salt and nuggets were crispy. Will be back :)

We waited a long time before being served because no one was at the counter. After placing order there was limited seating (which is ok for size of shop) but the person just stood at fryer and called out the order # so quietly people had to ask who were standing only 2m away, I had to relay the order... Phoned a couple of times to see how long the wait would be and went to answer phone. Finally got through and the wait was only around 15 minutes which for holiday season was pretty good. The big disappointments though were that a number of things on the menu we had were not available and although they offer 4 types... More

We went to two different f&c places over the Christmas break and this was easily the worst experience we could have possibly had. We ordered $8 of chips to have with dinner, and were told it would be about an hour, which wasn't an issue. After 90 minutes we received a call to say they had run out of chips.... More

Fish and chips were superbly cooked. My chips were nice and crisp and not soggy. Just how I like them.

Good service but the Fish (Terakihi) was pretty disgusting! They said no Snapper which was fine but the Terakihi was dry, prob frozen and not good! Very disappointed and will try the competition next time! Also the size of the fillets 1 huge and one small for same price very questionable!!

Though a long wait ( which can be avoided by phoning in your order), the fish & chips were crisp & hot. Very plentiful portions, & high quality fish. Can't wait for a return visit!

Best fish & chips in town! I recommend gurnard which is always fresh & plenty to eat. It's in the main street & plenty of parking.
