This is a great place all year round On a stormy day it's great to sit inside and watch the weather outside through its large windows all snug and safe. On a glorious day it's the ideal place to start and finish your trip to the dams with ample outside seating and children's play area

This is a good point to start your drive around the dams or cycle. Plenty of information inside and the staff are great. We used the cafe, they were very busy and were only just coping we had cake and coffee and got a nice seat. This is a very clean cafe and staff work very hard indeed. My suggestion... More

Idea located for a number of local walks, just a mile or so or 8 miles. Paths clearly marked and free maps can be picked up at the centre, staff are very helpfull. The centre has clean toilets and a fab cafe. Plenty of hot cafe food to choose from and best of all a choice of 22 different cakes!... More

Great exhibition space telling the tale of construction of the water supply for a large part of Birmingham. Knowledgeable staff who were very helpful. Nice little shop. The reservoir in full overspill is quite spectacular! Did not use the restaurant.

Really helpful staff at the visitors centre - gave us a map to use for a 4 hour walk around one of the reservoirs. Also phoned around to find some dog friendly pubs in the area which the guy had also marked on a map for us - impressive service. £2 a day parking and ticket gives you 10% off... More
