One of the few Vegan options on the menu I choose this Vegetable Coconut Curry and it was horrendous. It tasted like a some hot water was mixed with a tsp of curry powder and watered down coconut milk then served with 1 cup of white rice and a handful of limp sauteed vegetable. If you are Vegan like me... More

My husband and I stayed at the Couples Resort, which comes with breakfast and dinner, but not lunch, so during the day, we would hike or otherwise visit Algonquin Park and then stop here for lunch (two days in a row). They have a large lunch menu and everything we ordered was good: appetizers, soup, and especially the club sandwich,... More

This is the family restaurant that has a quaint pleasant atmosphere. The food is average, atmosphere is good and it is averagely priced. It is a good choice as there is not much else around.

We were visiting the couples resort and stopped in for a quick bite. It's not much to look at but the food was very good, I had the Algonquin burger and I found the meat to be very good, and the bun was delicious. Portion sizes very generous. Their french fries were amazing and they cook them in peanut oil,... More

Stopped in here after a winter hike, had a good meal. The place was clearly super busier than usual but the staff handled it well. There were some nice gluten and dairy free options for my partner. This spot also offered some nostalgia as i happily recall shooting pool with my father in the room now separated and closed off... More

I was thrilled to see gluten free options but though there was a gluten free bun, the burger was made with oats and the potatoes fried in the same oil as breaded items soooooo,, not as celiac friendly as I initially thought.

5 of us stopped in for lunch during our snowmobile tour. The atmosphere was perfect Canadiana. About 40 snowmobiles and 2 pickup trucks parked out front and the restaurant is located right next to the river (very scenic during the winter). The restaurant was full at 12:30pm , but they managed to put a table together to accommodate us rather... More

Always a great place to visit with friends and get a bit to eat. I am celiac and it is not always easy to find somewhere to eat out. I always visit the Mad Musher when in the area and have had wonderful meals and the desserts are amazing!
