My girl friend and I stayed here for Friday and Saturday night. Very nice place. Friendly family atmosphere. Good price and good location. Would come again. Great menu. Good breakfast. They cater for gluten free as well. Thank you Wheatsheaf for a nice stay.

Set in the village of Baslow, only a stones throw from Chatsworth, the Wheatsheaf is a big friendly pub with a large outdoor seating and play area,so it’s ideal for kids. It’s a Marston’s pub so the menu is standard pub grub, nothing special but ok.

There’s a reason why it’s reasonably priced! Speedy! Chicken and ribs. Dry and chewy! How long had this been kept warm or reheated?

Perfect Sunday lunch. Lovely food, and even though they were busy, the service was quick and we didn’t feel rushed. Romany looked after us very well with a smile and chat. Highly recommended.

Hi there, I am afraid we drove but I would think about half an hour. There is a long drive to the house but there may be a shorter way by foot. Why not ring and ask the Wheatsheaf to be sure? Enjoy.
