Outside looks austere and belies the modern atmosphere of the bar and restaurant. We arrived on spec at about 2.30 yesterday, we were greeted warmly. The staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The menu was interesting and they coped with my rapeseed...More

We ate here last week on a Friday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary after car trouble scotched our original plans. The booking was last minute, made only a few hours earlier but we got a table without any trouble. Service, I'd say, varied between...More

Visited here while out with our dog. A great local pub. Staff really friendly and also love dogs. Didn't try the food but it looked and smelt amazing. Would eat there next time.

Waiting staff make this place a gem. Food good but expensive for what you get. Staff make the experience more enjoyable.

My husband and I visited for the first time today for lunch. Lovely place with attentive staff without being too overbearing. We both had steak which was cooked to perfection. I had the white chocolate and passion fruit dessert whilst my husband had the cheese...More

We had a birthday celebration evening meal for three. Having eaten there several times in recent years, the food has always been good, but it has now risen to a higher level. As a spin off from the Michelin Star Baslow Hall you would expect...More

Our first visit here whilst on holiday & we were really looking forward to it. To get to the point the food & the wine were very nice, although the portions we thought were meagre. The trouble was the rock hard crust on the bread...More

Rowley’s Restaurant and Bar sits on the edge of the beautiful Chatsworth Estate in the pretty village of Baslow. Our passion is fresh, seasonal food using local ingredients in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The bar is a great place to meet up with friends, open from 10 am serving Fairtrade coffee. Call in at any time for a glass of wine, hand crafted beer from a local brewery, or join us for a light lunch or an informal dinner. Rowley’s boasts three contemporary dining areas, ideal for lunch, supper or dinner. We will look forward to welcoming you soon.
