When we arrived here mid-afternoon, the restaurant would only serve beer, soft drinks and ice cream. The server was inattentive, rude and seemed more interested in her friends than the customers. The manager was similarly unhelpful.

The restaurant was about half full when we sat down. We selected 2 menus "du jour".. One of us had a confit de canard and the other the fish filet which as they came from the menu of the day should have been easy to produce. The confit was so so but the fish which should have been hot was... More

Rather disappointing. Lovely riverside setting on the main strip at Pauillac. We had 2 of the veal and sadly both were far too gristly to be edible. Another of us had pizza, but it had been made with French cheese rather the usual Italian and tasted quite bizarre. Waiters didn't enquire why we had eaten so little of the mains.... More

We were riding bicycles through the area and decided to stop in for lunch. For 11.50 euros each we got an entree - nice lentil soup and the plat du jour - risotto with fish, mussels and squid. Both were prepared well and decent portions. The waitress was friendly and tried to guide us with our broken French. After reading... More

Visited with my son. We eat here twice during out stay. Food was very good on both occasions and they served a trio of crime brûlée which was so good I ordered it both nights. The wine list was reasonably priced and we tasted some fine bottles without breaking the bank - you can also buy wine to take away.

The restaurant are the best - and biggest in Pauillac. But manage to keep good service and good food even in rush hours on event days. Good placement on the quai with view over the piers and Gironde.

Stopped here for lunch last week with another couple. Weather was scorching, and took a table nicely shaded overlooking the quai. The service was good, as was the food, my wife bless her wanted the Moules Frites, and she loved them ! Very reasonably priced meal for 4, and would recommend

This is a pure tourist trap designed simply to relieve holidaymakers of their cash. My Caesar salad was a mess of chopped up chicken nuggets (I kid you not) and a few green leaves. There were no anchovies or croutons (unless you count two very skinny breadsticks that were bunged on top). When the waiter took our order we asked... More

We have busted this restaurant for over 20 years although not for some time. We always have the salad landaise. This was still excellent.

This place is a pure tourist trap. One of the worst meal we had in many years and an insult to french gastronomy!!They serve awful, blend food which is of questionable origin. See the pictures, they speak for themselves. My son's pizza was undoubtedly frozen. My risotto was simply disgusting and the appearance was really awful. Probably frozen too. My... More
