The restaurant is in a stunning location and it is beautifully decorated. There are lots of options for vegetarians on the menu, such as the falafel and vegetarian wok (with rice that you have to order as a side) and they were super delicious. Unfortunately, the service was super slow and the waiters were not wearing their masks properly at all. The male server had his mask under his chin the entire time and the female server had hers under her nose. The smoothies were also far too expensive for what they were.

We’ve visited Foodisiac in the past for breakfast or just a coffee and it’s always been great so we decided to try it out for dinner. It didn’t disappoint. A lovely menu, different from the other restaurants in the area. We visited on a Friday evening, quite early so it was quiet. Staff were friendly, service was prompt (but not hurried). I had the salmon pokè bowl and my husband had the prawn curry, both were delicious and beautifully presented. Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.

As a vegan and vegetarian we decided to try here as it has a few options on the menu.
We explained that we were sharing so both dishes must be vegan.
We ordered falafel and vegiburger.
All was ok apart from serving the burger in a brioche bun.
If they want to serve vegans they must be very careful with the ingredients of each item of food.
Service was slow although friendly.

What a disaster 😕 was so excited to finally visit this restaurant and taste it food but things didn’t turn out quite as expected. We got there after lunch and wanted to try their desserts. We sat down and waited and waited and waited for some sign of service. Waiters walking up and down passing our table but no such luck. I finally wave a waiter down and tell him we would like to order. He asks if we were ordering food and I said just desserts. He replies that someone else would come to take our order, so we waited and waited and waited some more so finally flagged a waiter down again. We ordered, a Latte, a hot chocolate, a tonic water, 2 scoops of ice cream and a chocolate dessert to share. We then waited and waited again, after approximately 20 mins our order hadnt come yet. It finally comes, lukewarm latte, lukewarm chocolate and the 2 scoops of ice cream, the tonic and dessert missing, waiter says that they have run out of chocolate dessert (fair enough) but he could offer milojas with a confectionery custard (sounded lovely) so we ordered that, we tell him that the tonic water was still missing so he leaves and we waited and waited and waited some more but nothing comes. We flagged the same waiter and he comes and we let him know that we are still waiting for the tonic and dessert (the coffee and chocolate long gone by now) he tells us that they had also run out of the milojas dessert, why he never came back to say this was not available is still a mystery to us. I told him we had been waiting for a while and that the service left a bit to be desired, he rolled his eyes and very sarcastically said ‘sorry’. We told him to leave the tonic water and just asked for the bill to leave. To our surprise whilst we waited for the bill they bring the milojas dessert to the table sat beside us. I asked the waiter who bought the bill what was up and she just shrugged and said she had just started and didn't know anything. So my first experience at Foodisiac unfortunately was not a good one, we sat for a whole hour and only had lukewarm coffee, lukewarm hot choc and 2 scoops of lovely icecream.

Menu sounds lovely reality very disappointing!
My wok chicken was inedible full of horrible pieces of chicken. Full of “twangy” chicken
I left it. The waitress asked if it was ok and I said no the chicken was horrible and for the price expected breast of chicken!
She said she would attend to it?
The bill came and we were still charged full price!
Very poor won’t be back …… and I’m a resident for 6 months of year !

Having eaten here in previous years our expectations were high.
Unfortunately the burgers we ordered medium rare were well done, the service in an empty restaurant was slow and charmless not at all like previous visits.
I got the impression that because they get very busy at times during the season that they think they no longer have to try to hard to give service.
It will be a while before we return.

Foodisiac is one of our local restaurants here in Sotogrande but it is also one of the best I have been to in general.
The food is varied and excellent, they have a great choice of speciality coffees and wonderful cakes.
It's a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Foodisiac has a nice setting and good food but it has consistently the worst service of any restaurant I know. I have been their three times over the last year and each time the shambolic indifference of the service is painful in the extreme. I will not be returning. Shame as if they sorted that out it could be a good place.

We went for breakfast. The eggs Benedict were good, but nothing great. The avocado on toast was very plain, average at best; and the waffles with berries came with literally 4 berries. Overall, an average breakfast at exorbitant prices.
I read in a post below that they spend a lot of time preparing their bread, hence the high prices. That may be the case, but I’m afraid the end result is not worth it.

I was told this was "the best breakfast on the coast" and it did not disappoint. It was so good I went 3 times during my 7 day visit. Fantastic cortado / latte amongst the boats of the marina in sotogrande.
The norweigian benedict was delicious.
The only negative is that using sourdough is often hard to eat (especially when toasted). Always friendly service and a very pleasant atmosphere. Will return.

Having eaten at a number of places around Sotogrande, the port and golf clubs, I can easily say this is best tasting food by far.
The pasta dish (Fiochetti with cheese & pear) I had was the best pasta dish I have had at a restaurant for years.
The salmon tartar had excellent flavours and craft.
My partner had cod, which was also incredible.

A beautiful place in lovely upmarket Sotogrande. Near the water and pedestrian walk way. Lovely decorated. Nice staff, medium price range. Try the eggs Benedict, yoghurt with fresh fruit and granola and the delicious smoothies.

I have reviewed Foodisiac previously following a visit in July 2023. Notwithstanding, we decided to go back again for dinner whilst in Sotogrande over Easter. We were forced to eat inside this time due to the inclement weather in Soto over the Easter period. However, despite this I am pleased to say the menu remained excellent and service was as attentive as our previous visits.
There were five in our party. Two adults and 3 teenagers. We enjoyed 3 courses with a bottle of wine and various cocktails. The total bill came to circa 350 Euros (about £300) including tip. So £60/head. However, I stress this did include alcohol.
I opted for the Tuna Tartar to start followed by the Sea Bass on black rice and then the Tiramisu. I was worried that the Tuna Tartar would not be as good as I remembered it from the summer. I need not have worried. It was excellent. Interestingly I opted for this in another restaurant later in our Easter break and whilst it was good, it didn't beat Foodisiacs version. I think the mango adds a lot to the recipe.
As before my wife and I opted for French wine (a Chablis)and again found this reasonably priced. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
On Easter Sunday we decided to have brunch there. Three of us opted for eggs and bacon, with coffee and orange juice. My wife and eldest daughter opted for avocado on toast. Just to note, they felt the portion size was too big and would have happily shared a serving between them. I was very happy with my portion. The bill came to around 90 euros. All very satisfactory. Looking forward to visiting in the summer. Foodisiac is now a firm family favourite for us.

I chose Seabass with brócoli priced at 30 €. I’ve been eating fish at Foodisiac for years but the tiny portion size completely spoilt the experience today. A small piece of fish and three small pieces of brócoli in a white sauce was totally inadequate. I was left hungry, I don’t eat bread or chips so I had to order a side of green beans and was charged another 6€. All meals need to be balanced and satisfying, this dish needed more vegetables and some sweet potato. The sauce was totally bland tasting like a plain bechamel sauce.

Always visit here several times over the summer whilst in Soto.
Mainly for breakfasts, coffee and smoothies, a lovely menu always presented beautifully and professional friendly staff.
A great place to people watch also as its right in the marina on the 'blue' side of the marina. Parking can be problematic in the height of summer on the roadside if you don't get down early, but parking is available underneath in the underground carpark.
It is always busy and more so on market day which is a Sunday.
